Good to know, I'll have to pick it up and check it out. Scott's director's cuts are usually pretty strong even with his lesser movies, Kingdom of Heaven comes to mind.
Finally caught this movie. Wow, what an editing mess - Horrible. I have a hard time believing that 15 extra minutes in the directors cut would make that much of a difference. Reading between the lines, I think the movie needs at least 2 extra hours to flesh out the plot.
