People forget how good he was. Moses won 3 league MVPs when guys like Larry Bird, Magic, and Dr J were in their prime.

Arguably the most underrated player of all time. Dr J didn't say Fo Fo Fo. That was Moses, dismantling both Larry and Magic. (and yes, I know the Celtics lost before the Fo of that year)

I remember that team just destroying everyone in the 3rd quarter, right out of the bell.

    Oh man this hurts.

I use to be a teller at a bank he went to and he was a cool guy. I still remember the first time I saw him walk in and being shocked Moses Malone is standing in front of me. :(

Met Big Mo last year at the Galleria. He was with a friend and probably his grandson. Nice guy and down to Earth.

    Sad day. Great player.

    With HOU
    3x rebounding titles
    2x MVP
    1 Finals appearance

Yep, not just Dream, but Barkley also credits Big Mo.

He single-handedly dismantled the Magic and Kareem Lakers.

R.I.P. to an all-time great. Loved that he helped mentor Dream in the early days. Truly a Rockets legend!!

There have been an alarming number lately, but aren't most of them due to heart attacks? That's not unusual for men in their late-40s to early-60s. Especially some of these NBA players who put on a crapload of weight after their careers are over. I don't think it's a WWF situation where they were all injecting or ingesting life-threatening substances and it caught up with them.

    R.I.P. Moses
