I like what Dana has done for the UFC, but sometimes I think the dude is a complete idiot. To degrade Fedor shows his bias and ignorance. The guy is a legend and will be remembered as such.

I really hate that they keep giving him these giants almost as if they want to showcase how good he is. I thought he was holding his own until Silva put the weight on him in the second. Even then, he wasn't finished and almost looked like he was going to get a good lock on the ankle.

As for him not taking a punch, I don't know what some of you were watching. He has a chin as is evidence tonight. That said, at 33 I don't know if its time for him to hang them up. I think he still has a lot of fight left in him. I'd be interested to see a rematch between him and Silva.

I blame M-1 for most of this. He's been handled extremely poorly. Fedor is a class act but hte people around him are anything but that.

Dana is going to be Dana. I'm sure most of us would be behaving in a similar manner if we were in his shoes. He took a huge risk and won. This is likely helping him recover from Brocks loss.

I'm a huge fedor fan but I thought he got destroyed. i gave Silva the first round. MMA has changed and reality is you have guys at 265 moving the same as guys at 205.

I'm not interested in a rematch but I'd like to see Fedor go out with a win.

Yeah. I'm wondering if they should just come up with a super heavy division. It would probably be tough getting enough guys for that, but it sucks seeing someone take it mostly on size.

I gave the first to Fedor, but it was close.

On Dana, I just think he should be more professional on things like this and not embarrass himself by saying things a jack@$$ would.

The other part that bothers me about this is that because of UFC's popularity and Dana White, the average Tapout T-shirt wearing fan doesn't know anything outside of UFC. To them, Brock and shirts with wings and glitter are the real deal. In the end props aren't given to those outside of UFC.

If dana white had any class, he would give Fedor the respect he deserves. That's a big if.

I think any inkling of a super heavy division was thwarted when Cain destroyed Brock. It will be interesting to see what happens with Alistair in this tournament.

I had a hard time scoring the first round but I had to give it to silva. It seememd he landed the harder and cleaner punches. I wouldn't have an issue with someone scoring it for Fedor though.

Dana will always be like this. it's what endears him to some and alienates him from others. I can respect the fact that he''s passionate and an actual fan though.

That's certainly an issue. The TUF era has been a difficult transition. Shogun counteracts guys like Brock imo. It's annoying, but it's something that isn't going to change.

I think Stikeforce has done a wonderful job. Carano's return will bring mainstream media attention and that can benefit every other fighter on the card.

Although both fighters may be past their prime, who wouldn't pay to see a Couture/Fedor epic match?

The potential for that fight is way high, which is why Dana looks like a fool for tweeting what he did.

I like these commentators more than the UFC guys, Joe Rogan is starting to get on my damn nerves... One of the strikeforce commentators said one of the funniest **** when Arvolski or whatever his name got knocked out, the guy said," He treated Arvolski like Christina Aguilera treated the National Anthem at the Super Bowl." HAHAHAHHAHAHAH!!!!!

Fedor should drop weight if he can and fight at 205 if he wants to continue his career. That picture I posted earlier in thread shows just how small he looks compared to the other fighters.

And as for the fight seeding maybe Strikeforce knew exactly what they were doing because Fedor looks like a shell of what he was.

The cut is likely too difficult at this point in his career

Yeah, that's what I was thinking -- he would have to drop a solid 25 pounds not impossible, but that has been his fighting weight for a long time.
