    At first I was wondering why they put them on the same side of the bracket, but then I got to thinking, if that's the fight people want to see, there is too much that could go wrong for them to both make the final, so this is a good way to do it.

    It's an awesome tournament, but I'll believe it happens when I see it. Fedor will hold Coker by the balls each round of the tournament and Overeem gets flaky about wanting to go back to Japan every month. Barnett can ruin his bracket by pissing hot at any given time.

    Not to mention the bracket is set up crazy. The four best guys in terms of current standings are all on one side. LOL Barnett is the only guy on his side of the bracket with any sort of cache at this point.

    I would have done

    Fedor/Werdum
    Silva/Arlovski

    on one side

    Overeem/Kharitonov
    Barnett/Rogers

    on the other.

    Guarantees you the Fedor/Werdum rematch (which is now unlikely) and sets up a possible Overeem/Fedor final if the favorites win out.

    The left side of the bracket is much tougher -- Fedor KO'd Arlovski in the first round, TKO'd Rogers, and the guy responsible for his only loss in the last 10 years, Werdum, may be waiting for him in the semis. But, that's if Fab can get by Overeem, a guy that TKO'd Brett Rogers in rd. 1 just 6 months ago.

    Kharitonov has done serious damage (wins over Overeem and Werdum in '07 and '05), but hasn't been very active in the last 2-3 years. I would've swapped him and Overeem.

    This is going to be SICK.

    It is a different kind of tournament. It will not be held in one night. Heck, even all the first round matches won't be all in one night. It's going to take the full year, if not longer.

    It's exciting, but it's not going to pan out. Fedor's management will find a way to pull him out or hold out for too much cash, Overeem will be off somewhere kickboxing, and Barnett's going to test positive after the first fight.

    Great idea, but the pairings are totally screwed up... REEM, FEDOR, WERDUM, and Big Foot all on the same bracket is stupid, the other bracket is garbage...

    I see, Overeem and Kharitonov in the finals with REEM winning it
