true story. political agendas aside, the shows marvel came out with have been a lot of misses. loki was the only series i thought was good tbh and they didn’t have any hot chicks. marvel is just doing too much, watshisname even admitted that the talent is spread too thin for phase 4. wished the new movies connect with one another. my body is so ready for the next team up.
Yeah I think one good movie and everyone will come right back I'm sure. They've got the actors, the production staff, the directors, and the budget to do it. I think they've even admitted that the issue with phase 4 is they filmed all of these D+ shows all at once for the most part, and it was just too much, and the plot threads maybe stretched too far. Winter Soldier I think is still my favorite MCU movie, and I think there's on reason to believe they couldn't pull out another movie like that given what they have to work with. Another Endgame movie... I dunno if they have an interweaving plot like they had in the first 3 phases, but who knows. We really just need one central really captivating villain and a central goal to bring it all together. Feige himself has said how much is resting on the shoulders of Jonathan Majors/Kang so we'll just have to see how it plays out over the next couple years. I do think we are going to get some good movies for sure though.... good D+ shows.... meh... I've lowered my expectations.
That seems to be what they're getting at. I used to have good vibes with that Marvel intro, but it's quickly cheapened over the past couple years. She Hulk isn't terrible, but it's also unnecessary.
I thought the same, just thought it was weird. Like, I guess they tried to make a point or something, but I don't watch comic book shows for things like that. I also kind of didn't like the daredevil character. Like, he was more of a brooding guy in the netflix series and maybe tells too many jokes in this form. I'm assuming he'll be back to "normal" in his own series when he has real villains to deal with, but this one was a little meh.
Yeah, that finale was stupid. KEVIN's proposed ending made no narrative sense, either. There should have been no overarching storyline plot and kept it an episodic sitcom. Blomsky violating his parole ruined his character progression, too. That made no sense either. What a mess of a finale. Overall, maybe a B- for the series. It's watchable if you're looking for a lighthearted sitcom. The side characters outshine She-Hulk by far. I think they wasted Tatiana Maslany's talent. The overtly blunt feminism was a major turnoff. You can get the message across with more clever writing and nuance instead of "man bad, woman good" x 20. She-Hulk breaking the 4th wall was less obnoxious in the latter episodes. Too much cringe in this series.
The show is watchable, I enjoyed it overall except for the finale and the extreme bashing of men. It definitely had its highlights but it wasn't a subtle show in the man hating department. Also, that finale was an atrocity. Take the man bashing and the finale away and I enjoyed it.
It doesn't surprise me. This is why you need someone to do some sort of quality control to minimize this kind of stuff. Otherwise, it was a decent show (man-bashing/awful finale aside).
They did this on purpose @Xerobull Marvel hired a bunch of activists instead of real writers there’s no substitute for superior writing Look at game of thrones when they went outside GR Martins writing rings of power is based on Tolkien but obviously the writers are nowhere close in talent and creativity
2nd "best" Marvel TV show after Loki. 3rd if you include the Werewolf thing. Finale was coo. Only complaint was shoving the Hulk reveal in. Yall want something SERIOUS to happen SO BAD, it's lulz. It's a joke show. Also I like how that leader of inteligencia was basically making fun of @tinman. Yall people that aren't comfortable around women get BIG MAD over this show. Lulzm.
Lol I’m not a YouTuber breh just a 99er B When your main enemy are YouTubers That’s not worth the 100 million bucks or the HDR on your tv I’d rather watch claymation That has better cgi than this show @Xerobull
Honestly I loved Loki but I skip a lot of Disney+ series...when I get time I really need to catch up on them. Last one a saw was Wandavision...eh actually Moon Knight.
