those three offensive rebounds were the biggest plays of the night, not just b/c they gave the rockets another three chances of buying a bucket but also they gained the team three extra 24s to eat up the clock in the final minutes. he is a winner and those were winning plays, and just think about the fact that houston only scored 1 pt during the 5-6 mins stretch and we were still up by 4 !!!! just unbelievable efforts!
Scola = Shawn Marion Despite Marion's salary he was always the unsung hero on those dangerous Phoenix teams during their S.S.O.L. peak years. Marion was always their garbageman, energy guy and best rebounder. Phoenix has never been the same without him. I get that same feeling when I think about the Rockets without Scola in the line up. I'm not saying they are the same player -- clearly they are different. I'm just saying their roles and contributions are eerily similar. The advantage for us: max salary vs. $3 million a year. Yeah, you take your pick there!
Another solid effort, you can always count on Scola to get 10-15 pts, 8-10 rebs, in 30 minutes of action, and he gets critical rebounds as well, love his energy tonight as well.
He does dun... it seems like only twice in a moon cycle but Luis "Hustleman" Scola dunks this season.
He is a player like this: If one day coach pull him aside before a game and tell him that tonight he is our only hope to win the game, then at the end of game you are going to see 25/10 guranteed.
Possibly, but I think he works well without having many expectations...He can come out every night, beast it up in the hustle department, get his solid 10 rebounds, and contribute some offense...don't change a thing!!
Scola always gives 100% every single minute he is on the court. Looks for easy baskets, rebounds, hustles and can take a charge! Keep up the good work Luis!
Nah, you're just more voluminous. I won't concede my Luis Fandom to anyone, including you. From the thread you quoted:
