    Totally fair point.

But my point is there are people who love one and shun the other (my example was arbitrary choice, I admit). That's all, really. Don't tell me you love one and hate the other (not that someone did so in this thread), because if you do, you're deaf and you haven't actually tried to find music on your own.

I was hoping Minutes to Midnight would come close to Hybrid Theory but was instead severely disappointed. They shouldn't have strayed away from what made them good.

Have not listened to the whole songs but based on the 30 second previews on iTunes, it's not going to be all that.

i listened to the album straight....

so I dunno any track listing, the beginning was eh,

then they got to the gray shadows song and they ran off a bunch of good ones. I don't like when the rapper gets all fort minor on everything.

Hyrbid Theory is better, and they should definitely stick to what the do best, but there are some bright spots in this album imo.

hmm, well i digg this CD ALOT

again, I am a wuss for alternative bands singing ballads, its just my type of music and this album has lots of it

to be fair, i've heard the album since the first week of May, torrents ftw, but I am buying the album tomorrow morning, deluxe that is :)

"Leave Out All the Rest", "Bleed it Out", "Shadow of the Day", "Hands Held High", "In Between", and "In Pieces" my favs on the CD.

"Bleed it Out" is probably going to be the next single judging thats the song the played other than "What I've Done" on SNL this pass Saturday, but as I mess with Mig about the song, I swear, I love the song, but the background clapping bugs the hell out of me like its a country square dance song.

As for ranking the albums, I'd go with Min to Midnight, Meteora, Hybird Theory

again, thats how I feel now in which once its all said and done, i think Min to Midnight is my least favorite of the 3 cause you can't really compare this one with the first 2, its just 2 different styles. Again I really love their ballad type songs in which my favorite song of theirs is "In The End" and "Numb" and although not LP, Fort Minor's "Where Did You Go?".

as for the Maroon 5 album, I've heard half of it so far and dig it ALOT.

btw, I think I started a thread when Meteora came out, and I remembered I got bashed for it :p

    EDIT: found it :p

I got this CD last week and overall, I don't think its as good as the first two, but still a good CD...A lot of slow stuff for my taste, but I do love there fast/heavy songs like Bleed it out, Given Up and No More Sorrow...

So someone can start a thread about a band they enjoy, but if others do not like their music and feel the need to point it out, they shouldnt? I could care less if someone likes a particular artist, but to me it sounds like you're telling people to never post anything negative...which is ludicrous.

Personally, I hate this album and wish LP would go back to their previous style.

I hate it when bands completely change their style. The same thing happened with The Tragically Hip.

Remember when boy bands didn't pretend to be all edgy and underground?
