Morale must be getting worse because these guys were charged by the FBI pretty quickly. Notice how they weren't charged locally. Cameras have been the best thing for civil liberties, because this stuff would have not been noticed 10 years ago. That is why police have been resistant about body cams and have attempted to make laws about filming in some areas.

I work with police for a living. Moral is terrible right now. It’s nearly weekly I have an officer asking how he can join my company. I think majority of LEOs would be supportive of more required training if it resulted in more pay. there are cities like New Orleans that need to double their department to effectively police. But no one wants to be an officer because they’re completely handcuffed and don’t make **** money. I wouldn’t risk my life for that pay. **** their pay isn’t much different than what I made as a bartender and that felt like too much bullshit for the money.
