Indeed, there's nothing right-wing nuts like to be more than biased, bigoted, and racist.

Uh, yeah it does. These simpletons have devolved public accommodation which has myriad implications from employment to housing to services into freaking bathrooms. This whole bathroom campaign is so ignorant and stupid. I don't even know what else to say about it but please carry on.

Speaking of bathrooms, can anyone explain why more republican senators have been arrested for sexual misconduct in bathrooms than trans women?

It really is sad. The left leaning voters of Houston shut down a far left wing ordinance and those here on the far left are freaking out about it and blaming pretty much everyone else for it.....they can't understand that it was such a bad ordinance that they couldn't even get members of their own party to vote for it.

It wasn't anyone on the right or Republicans who shut this ordinance down, there simply aren't enough Republicans or people on the right to decide any election in Houston as evidenced by 34 years of Democrat mayors.

Yes, the liberals are completely bewildered by the nexus of conservative ministers both white and black that combined to rally their constituents to defeat this ordinance. Completely mystified how a bunch of conservative Christians and their usual rhetoric could turn a civil rights ordinance into scary trannies raping young girls in the bathroom. We've never seen this kind of stupidity other than like in every election ever involving LGBT rights.

    Clown show roll on!

Nope....I know you keep spinning but there's nothing conservative about Houston voters, this ordinance was voted down by the left and by Democrats.

    Deal with it.

When it comes to a regular bathroom I could care less if they had a unisex bathroom. I'm not concerned about potential for crime. When it comes to a school gym locker, my daughter should not have to undress in front of an anatomical male. Once a full change has occurred and the physical change is made, then they can switch to the opposite side.

You are not ok with your daughter undressing in front of the anatomical male or the anatomical male undressing in front of your daughter? Or both?

The most interesting issue here is election rhetoric, and how people succumb to propaganda.

Much more money was spent by the bathroom alarmist and that message, no matter how outlandish, is the message that turned the popular vote. I can only guess at the real motives but the possibility of .03% of the population choosing an accommodation that would likely to be met with vigorous protest isn't it.

Who paid for this and why? How can minority interests be defended in the face of the overwhelming election spending? Just by being a minority or a controversial group pretty much guarantees you will lose in arena of political spending. It almost always takes an act of the courts to overcome even the most bigoted majority opinion.

Much like Citizens United the influence of money deciding politics is the issue.

With enough money, you can get uninformed voters to vote for anything.
