Superbowl and NCAA plan to stay so stop.... no negative financial impact. I don't like more meddling government. Minorities are already granted federal protection, why do need we the municipalities levying fines as well and spending time and money on things like this.

Stop trying to shove **** down the majorities throat, we really aren't bad people, and we normally don't appreciate people picking on people because they're different. We don't need our noses rubbed in your differences.

This is hilarious. If Houston loses out on anything, it wont be because of Prop 1. Some of you are acting like this is more significant than the ACA. The reality is nobody outside of Houston and the LGB community cares. And 62% of Houston doesnt care.

And please, stop bringing up the civil rights movement. The TG's obsession over locker room and bathroom usage is insulting to what blacks have gone though in the past. Im sure we can throw in some Nazi Germany example if we tried hard enough. Firstly, society deemed blacks as inferior and segregated them off to their own areas. TG's are not being discriminated because they are seen as less than equal. If you have frank and beans, then you goto the frank and beans room. If you have at taco, goto the taco room. If you think you're a hotdog, deal with it. Society can't cater to every single super minority group begging for attention.

Move onto something else that really matters. Like gun control.

Just sat down and read through the ordinance... unless I'm missing something blatant I could have read through it a hundred times and never realized that it had any implication on restroom usage. I guess I can see where it's implied.
