Do you mean 2011 #1 pick or 2012 #1 pick? In my suggestion I was willing to move the 2012 pick since the Knicks will be a good team by then with Melo and Amar'e leading them. That pick should be in the 20s and I would think very movable, I wouldn't move ours though.
It was Cousins and Brooks/Taylor/pick might get that deal done. That one poster said it right that Sac town usually rips off the other team when it comes to trades. This imo is fair enough and depends on how high Morey is on Cousins. But neverthless he's a big man and his stock is kinda low.
That depends. The knicks are doing relatively well right now, but teams are still figuring them out. Like us, they might drop off next year. Cousins is quite risky, but his potential is sky high. I would try to keep both our picks and see if they're interested in other of our young guys, like PP or Bud.
I think Brooks/Patterson/Budinger/Taylor would also be a nice package. Knowing the Kings they'd try to move Udrih too just to dump salary. Looking at Morey side he'd try to get under the cap though.
Cousins kicked out of practice??? Uh oh... It's heating up... Cousins+Scola+Hill for the lowpost win...
I would include Patterson if need be, Cousins is the real deal he just needs molding... and we have the players to help him!! <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/92ckgqsmDwM?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/92ckgqsmDwM?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object> Brooks, Taylor, Patterson, and 2012 NY #1 for Cousins!!! --RB
Yep, certainly looking like a shaky relationship here at the start. To much talent to let go so easily but there has to be a point where either he goes or the coach does.
Jeez, the dude is a nutjob and you guys are ready to gut our productive players for a guy that could be the next Eddie Griffin? DD
Or could be the next great big man, plus he actually plays unlike our philly cheese steak eating often injuried center.
I know we need a center with high potential, but this Cousins guy is turning out to be the mental nightmare that many had predicted. I don't think anybody on the our organization could control him. The Lakers and Kobe might.
Huh??? Sacramento has absolutely nothing to do with Batum. The Rockets (perhaps) messed up by not realizing how good Batum would be, but (1) they were never interested in selecting him, (2) only selected him because they knew that Portland and San Antonio both wanted him badly and (3) used that selection (#25) to get the #27 and #33 picks. The fact that Sacramento eventually traded for Donte Greene a couple of months later is irrelevant. And if you honestly think that Carl Landry (who himself is not a good defender and whose presence would likely keep Scola off the court more) would be helping the Rockets more than Kevin Martin (a top-10 scorer in the league), so be it. I heartily disagree with you, however.
Batum is solid. I really do believe they are looking for that franchise player though it's quite obvious to many.
Cuz was kicked out of practice eh? Someone needs some vet guidance! I said before the draft and I'll say it again... in the right environment Boogie will prosper... Sacramento ain't got it. He made it through a full season with Cal without any major upheavals... but now a month into the season Westphal can't control him? He's a big kid.. he needs discipline and someone to stoke a light under his arse until he grows up. Bring out the trade chips cause I fully believe Houston has the environment to make him an awesome pro!
Yea Cousins and Hill will be solid for years to come. I'm impressed with Jordan the guy is getting better with more minutes. He is also shooting 57% from the field not bad at all.
