KG wanted out, so why didn't we let him in?

KG for Yao not an improvement.

Now KG and Ray Allen along with T-Mac is a big change, but at the end what can prevent T-Mac for getting hurt.

How about this Yao - T-Mac (when he is not hurt) and Allen, in the east with a soft schedule we can be as good.

Add a true shooter like Ray next to a true inside player in Yao (50% FGA inside better that the 22% inside of KG) and wow Houston is a lot lot better. Heck this team with a healthy T-Mac is as good as the Celtics, seriously.

This team did not impress me, Houston look kind of lost in the beginning then they outplayed them the entire game, to bad they got a good mismatch at the end of the game.

Let Detroit do something important before getting in KG bandwagon, In a playoff series you weaknesses will get expose and Celtics are not a good in scoring on the paint and in the playoff perimeter teams don't do to well.

Detroit looked a lot tougher that this Celts.

I hope we got a full squad once we face them in Houston I want to see how we and them play after play a game and with some more miles in this season.

I definitely would not take KG over Yao, the fact is Boston has a far superior team right now, but the Rox showed a lot of guts by making a game of it tonight.

Man, KG for Yao? Damn...the big man has faults but...

Yao's Chinese shoe deals>KG's Chinese shoe deals
    Yao's age<KG's age
    Yao's potential>KG's potential

    Point finale.

If I were you, I wouldn't even waste time to make reason out of all this, I would just stop watching Houston Rockets until they trade Yao away! ;) Unlike you I do see a future for this team. Last night we were out talented and still we had a chance to win the game.

No accounting for luck! When decent teams get lucky, they win. When we get lucky, we only lose by a little.

To the best team in ball...

Seriously, the way the Celts dismantle teams and the way the Rockets ALMOST carved out a win regardless...that would've been a win against any other team in the league.

Your forgetting the fact that Yao has a certain marketable appeal and is a much better catch than a trade headlining Al Jefferson. They still want to rebuild but with a younger player and they have to know that they wont ever get full value, so you take the best available. This would have been the best available.

For all the people that call me a hater you have to realize that I'm not hating on Yao. I'm just speculating about how much better the team that I love to death would have been better with KG.

Right now a lot of people (NBA analysts and casual speculators of our team) don't know who the alpha dog of our team is. They still argue about whether this is Tmac's team or Yao's team, but if KG was here then EVERYBODY, including Tmac, would know that this is KG's team; because he is just that damn good. I mean Boston has 3stars and Bill Worrell said it best "The city of Boston, Ray Allen, and Pierce are all going to ride KG's back to a championship" (or something like that) because he is just that DAMN GOOD.

Why not Tracy McGrady for Kevin Garnett? I'd take that trade. I'd take that immediately.

The Rockets could build on 2 big guys with heart, and great fundamentals. Like the Spurs did with Robinson/Duncan.

    C. Yao Ming
    PF. Kevin Garnett
    SF. Shane Battier
    SG. Bonzi Wells
    PG. Rafer Alston

Sounds a hell of a lot better than having Tracy "the cry baby" McGrady around.

That line-up enables Houston to keep its young franchise center (hard position to fill), Kevin Garnett (a franchise power-forward), and have Wells start.

Probably because they would have laughed in our face had we proposed that trade.

Watch boston's games, it's paul pierce's team. At the end of close games, it's always pierce who has the ball and shoots. Tonight is actually a rare occasion that KG stepped up and closed a game out.

I would have offered T-Mac before Yao
    T-Mac, Sura's Contract and a Draft Pick

For better or worse Yao is the Rockets and you are a hater. By the way KG is a jump shooter.
