I fully expected Love to dominate Jeff Green, who is a joke at PF whenever he plays against a real PF. After the 1st quarter, I thought the T-Wolves would win. KD and Westbrook have the stat lines but Ibaka was dominant in the 4th quarter. What a freak.
Yes. He average 9 rebounds a game in his rookie season while only playing 25 minutes. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=165342
Outside of love and beasley minny has nobody on their team. If they get rubio, they'll be pretty good. Love is amazing at what he does.
If Love and Beasley are all they have, how will Rubio make them pretty good? Minny needs a LOT more than Ricky Rubio to be good. If they ever do get good and expectations rise, look for Beasley to crumble and flake out.
If Rubio is half the player the media thinks he will be, Minny has a very bright future. And it will be interesting to see who becomes top dog on that team.
Love Boat with 15 points, 11 boards at the half against the Pistons According to my complex extrapolation formula, Mr. Love is on pace for another 20-20 (or better) game (30 points and 22 rebounds to be exact).
No doubt Love is a great rebounder. But I'm wondering if stat inflation at home is helping his numbers a little bit. Just a thought.
Love is averaging 24.3 points, 17.3 boards and 2.8 assists shooting 47.7 percent from the field in December. Umm, this guys is amazing, no matter how you slice it, he is the best pf in the game. Yes, better than pau, dirk and the rest of them.
Love eased up in the 2nd half, finishing with 27 points, 18 rebounds (according to CBS Sports Game Tracker) AND a t-wolves win  Yeah, Love probably benefited from a home-court stat-boost, but I think that might be harder to do with rebounds than assists, steals, or even blocks. While I haven't seen his home/road splits for rebounding, Love is a monster on the boards no matter how you slice it; even if his average is inflated by say 2-3 rebounds a game, he would still be averaging ~13 rebounds per. he's dece
Milicic actually compliment Love very well. He helps to cover Love poor defense and Pekovic is decent as well. I really like the Wolves' frontcourt of Milicic, Love, Beasley and Pekovic very much. Young, decent and lots of room for improvement!
