gundy's not a bad couch, but you have to admit, he's ridged and doesn't adjust to the on court situation well. that's why we keep on blowing large leads against good teams. he starts out great but good opponents adjust and gundy's not willing to change strategies. by the forth quarter, the team is pretty much predictable. part of it is because he doesn't like risk, hence the ultra defensive schemes and the unwillingness to trust rookies.

Adjustments had nothing to do with Barbosa/Bell/Nash hitting three pointers at will...regardless of where the defender was. That's what killed the lead.

As far as Dallas, you had to double off Deavon George and he made us pay. I guess Avery is just a diabolical genius because he must have know that George was gonna hit those shots

JVG will lead us to the NBA finals this season, and we'll win it! considering the fact that eastern teams sucks so bad, that the rockets will be seeded #1 if they will be in the east

The bad ones. Because they never have large leads to begin with.

I'm saying that JVG lets things get out of hand to quickly BEFORE he tries to change stuff. Tuesday he had Deke guarding D. George, and he hit like 3 three's in a row. Wednesday, Phoenix went on a 14-0 before he called a timeout. Anyone notice that he left the same group of guys on the court in the 3rd quarter until like 3 minutes left? Why not change something if what you are currently doing isnt working?

But JVG is the coach who leaves players on the floor too long when things arent going well

he couldnt have called a timeout and made some changes?? freakin 6'5 snyder on the bench cuz he hasnt had any practice time, and leave bonzi on the inactive list tuesday cuz he out of shape. what a joke....the NBA is about winning games! If you're going to get beat, get beat with your best is all im saying

    i agree with you w-mac...

i see too many times where jvg gets out coached.. the playoffs vs the mavs 2 years ago...we all saw how avery out coached jvg during that series..

and the rockets havent blowing leads in the last 2 games...

they blew leads to the spurs earlier this year...to the laker..to the warriors..etc

ok then, how were they getting those open shots? Nash getting by Rafer at will maybe? Why not change to a zone so he cant do that...at least give it a shot

Most people on this board are content on our 25-15 record just because Yao is out and McGrady is pretty much day to day, and thats crap! These guys, IF put with the right combination, can win games. And dont give me that Dallas and Phoenix are 10 times better then us BULL****...thats a lame excuse. You have a double digit lead in the 2nd half you fight like hell to hold it....if the guys you have out there arent getting the job done, THE COACH should change things up.

avery changed how they were going to defend mcgrady (21 in the 1st quarter, 24 the next 3). avery changed his lineup to go samll so we would have to adjust....what did JVG do? leave deke in the game to guard a wing man? leave snyder on the bench? leave bonzi on the inactive list?

He is getting out-coached...bottom line. If you have any competitive spirit you should be pissed off that we lost these last 2 games, expecially after blowing leads in the 2nd half. competitive people arent content with our record....we always want to be better. just sit back and watch JVG saturday...he waits to long to change things up
