My guess is once this is investigated after the aftermath, we are going to find that the Trump admin had something to do with standing down National guard forces, and basically left Capital police & the DC police on their own. Again... this was announced loud and proud weeks ago that they were planning this. Something has happened to allow this, and it seems clear that it would have to come at a very high level.
