I agree that one smaller sect can't represent the whole, but really its tough to find a group that can, because of cultural influences, evolving times, Islam itself,an abstract thing depending on interpretations since people who read the same book, come up with different things, not to mention the different translations and disparities in the languages there are(in fact it is said the whole 72 virgins is actually 72 grapes), so Islam itself, the idea stays the same, but muslims are constantly evolving, changing depending on where they live and how they read it thus also aligning their beliefs in that matter too.

I think so too, and I highly doubt any prophet cares whether we are doing this thousands of years after they have died. But if doing so makes some feel better then why would it bother you, me or anyone for that matter?
And your references to Hitler and Germany are very thought provoking. I don't think ATW hates Islam or Muslims. He is very curious about something he doesn't completely understand, but he does seem to have an unhealthy obsession on the topic.
