How much of this is Adelman's fault for poor distribution of minutes?

Are we EVER going to be happy with a coach? We let JVG go (and he was a great coach for our team) and it is sounding like we're looking for a hanging tree for RA.

Adelman's the one with the cred--he's actually been to the Finals. That means that he's actually gotten past the first round. If anybody's slumming in this relationship it's him.

And again, it doesn't matter if Adelman's the right coach for the Rockets or not. The coach is the coach, period. If T-Mac's not willing to follow his orders he should be shipped out.

BTW, Kobe did really well after driving Jackson out. And AI--"Practice"? Give me a break. When players can't follow the coach's orders what happens? The organization/team usually goes straight down the drain.

The coach changes and the Rockets still are inconsistent, putting out a crappy effort against lousy teams and losing. JvG's long gone--you can't put the blame on him. Who's left? Could it be...the players?

Is it any different than constantly being mad at the players

The Roxs were not inconsistent under Gundy's watch-they always beat the teams they were supposed to beat and even some they weren't-hence the 4 straight playoff berths. They always played hard every night, and they certainly won more games than they lost even when Chuck Hayes and Luther Head were top rotation players

They just had a god-awful offense which was inexcusable considering Tmac and Yao Ming are two of the most offensively gifted players in the league. That was why Gundy was let go, and not because of the reasons you stated.Simply put, we never had problems outside of the court before, just a lack of talent, over realiance on Tmac and god-awful offense. I'd rather have those problems back then that what we have now though any day of the week.

I said in another thread, McGrady probably responds better to a more charismatic type coach. Adelman is well respected but wouldnt consider him a "people person". He's (like 97% of the world) the type that says this is how things go. And if you dont follow along like how everyone else generally does, he'll shrug his shoulders and say you're not a bad guy but you're a terd for not following, stop being a terd.

McGrady terded and sharted and can't wash the stain off his clothes. And is trying to use the excuse that the complex has a sewage problem. Adelman at least gave McGrady some Tide, but McGrady likes Oxi Clean and his personal servants doing it for him. And wants the complex that he acccuses of the sewage problem to pay for his own time off to tend to the cleaning, and pay the expenses of his servants to clean out the mess.

This mess has nothing to do with Adelman -- if anything he has kept the situation under control when it could have already gone critical.

Agreed. But this is the same reason Rudy, after being the perfect guy for the championship teams, was unable to run the Francis era effectively and only lasted a half season with the Lakers.

But again, agreed. We need leadership on this team.
