I think having 2 of your starters out, one of which is the best big man in the game, is a plenty good excuse for losing by 6.

With our role players playing like this, we would be down by 20 after the 1st half. :( We couldnt even afford to let him rest for one minute in the 2nd half tonight.

Even Barkley said it. You will eventually get tired playing at that pace.

Yeah, or a really good motivation to win by 2. Who knows. Glass empty, glass full eh?

The game was close. T-Mac not hitting a FG in the 4th Q was a problem, but it wasn't the main problem, or the main reason why we lost. T-Mac played a great game. FT's throughout the game especially the 4th Q was part of it. Luther Head's lack of offense was part of it. That weak offensive foul by Scola was part of it.

Landry not being able to be the spark we wanted off the bench was part of it. Not having Rafer was part of it. Early turnovers were part of it. That Rockets taking that shot a few seconds too early in the third were part of it.

But the bottom line is that all of those mistakes wouldn't even matter if wasn't for T-Mac it made the game close enough for all of those mistakes to make a difference. The Rockets wouldn't have been in the game at all if it wasn't for T-Mac and his play at both ends of the floor.

He played a bad game, no doubt at all.

He was trying. Even as bad as was, he was the only one scoring and attacking in the last minutes.

And he played the entire second half of a very physical game.

I love everybody saying poor Tmac, he was tired in the 4th. And he actually had a 2 min breather. Scola, not 1 sec.

Can yall name one other player to ever get tired so much? He's 28! He doesnt play 82 games, he doesn't play high minutes, he takes nothing but jumpers and he never plays deep into the playoffs. Tired from what??

You dont think Kobe gets double teamed? LeBron? Jordan? Bird? They all get double teamed. T-Mac is not the first guy in the histroy of the league to get double teamed. He has no heart.

LeBron has been getting his ass handed to him everytime he drives the lane the last two games, but is he tired? Fatigued? Does he stop driving? No. T-Mac just doesnt want it. He'd rather rely on hish lazy jumper than drive the lane and get contract. He'd rather drive and pass to Aaron Brooks for 3 instead of dunking.

anyone blaming Tracy for this game isn't watching. Tracy left everything he had on that floor...he did everything he could...Bobby Jackson, the bs foul at the end, freethrows, and Landry's disappearance lost us this game and this series...end of story

Have you seen McGrady play prior to last year? He could of EASILY handled that pre back injury. He was one of the most athletic players in the league - easily.

Really? Then you must not watch Cavs games because LeBron has wanted to punch every member of that team in the face because they blow so many damn layups and open shots.

It's called being the superstar and earning that fat paycheck he collects. There is NO excuse for anyone scoring 1 point in the fourth quarter of the first two playoff games. None. Keep making excuses for him and settle for first round exits every year.

Lol you just compared the Wizards' defense to the Jazz defense. And Kobe doesn't get double teamed anymore now with Gasol. Actually I don't think Kobe gets double teamed as much Tmac since him going off doesn't always lead to a Laker win (see bobcats game). And the previous two years, well, he didn't get out of the first round either.

Yeah, T-Mac choked. It's his fault that teammates missed the gimmie, point blank lay-ups that he got them in the 4th, because they are too p***y to go up and dunk the damn ball.
