I agree, his character lacked focus, good guy-bad guy routine didn't fit him well. I guess Peter should be able to get his initial power back, since baby Parkman gave Hiro his powesrs? ...if it doesn't happen I don't see who counters Sylar's abilities....or would it be better one sided?
i thought arthur was almighty and powerful too, and he couldn't even dodge a bullet, sylar's demise might be just as anti-climatic as arthur's
I am sure pretty fast because a knife to the back of the head does nothing to stop sylar's regeneration abilities. I think HRG did stick a knife in the back of his head last season and that didnt kill him. Same with Claire's attempted rape in season 1. I am pretty sure the brain has to be completely destroyed (shot gun blast to the head etc) for sylar/claire to die. glad to see the episodes get better and better i am really interested in seeing what more angela petrelli has in store the trailer for next week looked good too.
I thought it was a pretty good episode. Something just occured to me today, where the heck is The Haitian?
if you remember, Claire did die during the attempted rape. She only regenerated once the stick was taken out of her head
just finished watching tonights episode. the writing has started to get a lot better and now with sylar just going around and mindf***ing everyone with his shape shifting makes it all the more interesting. it will be interesting to find out what exactly was the whole coyote sands thing. glad they got the original writers back on the show
the show is slowly getting better, however being better than the first half of this season is pretty hard not to do.
I don't like the shape shifting, don't think this can go on too long, or else it'll make it silly. Sylar can pretend he's anyone, play dead, and we'll never know, hopefully he somehow loses his powers.
They have a setup with the Matt Parkman jr. Sylar goes after Parkman and Hiro, but he comes across crying Parkman jr and picks him up His powers disappear, Parkman pulls his gun. It's pretty disturbing, so they might not kill Sylar in front of baby Parkman.
Another good episode yesterday... its actually getting interesting again...the company is back!!!! The sister angle played out a little strange, but they needed the company to come together.
the sister is weird she disappeared twice like that? also you figure she will come back somehow in the story line. its a bit hard to believe she stayed out there on her own for 50 years like that though. also i just remembered in season 1 when hiro traveled to the future and saw sylar as nathan as the president maybe Denko will try to push "nathan" into the white house to further their plans. looks to be interesting again, shame it took so long to get the good writers back onto the show
The sister portion just seemed pointless, I hope they include her into the plot line at some point just to give it some weight. The best part was ending with Sylar posing as Nathan, very interested to see how that plays out.
I just thought of something. Doesn't Sylar need to touch someone in order to shape shift into them? I remember the original shape shifter had to touch the janitor in order to shape shift into him when he was running away from Danko in the garage. If so, when did Sylar ever touch Nathan since he gained that ability?
