Greg grunnberg was twittering a lot about how great the episode was going to be so i tuned in, i think maybe hayesfan was mentioning that one of the writers who worked primarily on season 1 was coming back from this episode on? either way it was probably one of the best episode the show has had in a long time. i think the death of two of the characters will help the story line move forward and revelation of rebel made sense. oh and Ando knocking down the agent Hadoken style was pretty cool
Spoiler I don't think Tracy is dead, they showed her face in the ice, as though she might still be alive
Agree with both of the above comments on last nights episode. I thought both deaths were well done. Spoiler Although I am pretty sure Tracy is not really dead . I liked Daphne's character but I think they did a nice job at writing her out. One of the problems I think the show has suffered from since Season one is that they have issues with killing off major characters. They either kill them off and then bring them back over and over, or they just stop writing about them and they disappear with no resolution, which I think stems from having too many major characters and not enough screen time to write for them. If the show can produce more episodes like last nights though they may be back on the right track. I am also glad they resolved Hiro's issues too. i was getting tired of the try to be funny , mopey sidekick Hiro. Now maybe we can get some Hiro-Ando teamwork.
I think all the deaths are permanent... and people have to remember that they were triplets: Niki, Tracy, and Barbara. So, I think it's probably time for the last triplet to show up...
Although it seems to me a pretty cheap way to do it, I'm glad Baby Matt only reactivated Hiro's time-freezing ability and not his teleportation/time travel abilitiy. Good to get rid of time travel, but come on, that feels like a cop out.
What was Hiro's Dad's power? [if any - since his mom had power] Sylar - Peter and Parkman - all got EXACTLY the same power as their father Matt Parkman Jr is a direct departure I figure Micah's power were different cause his mom was artificially powered Rocket River
I think Tracy's Spoiler power is about to be extended to T2'ish proportions. Looks like as long as she is some sort of liquid substance she is OK. She is definitely not dead. She's too hot(the actress not the character) for the producers to right off! Proof is in the pudding. She is about to be back from a virtual character right off for the 3rd time.
From wikipedia: Spoiler The season two DVD boxset features a deleted scene, which shows his ability as being able to analyze the probabilities of a situation and determine the outcome, though the scene is not part of the official storyline.
I also don't think tracey is dead. But finally after like 5 bad episodes in a row, last nights was pretty good. Can't wait for the next with Sylar going full badass again.
lol...a wink would be sooo cheesy....she blinked a few times as a drop came down her face that looked like it was supposed to be a tear...
Brilliant Episode. The old writer has done a fantastic job on his first episode this season. I missed Claire, but the story was interesting. We have a new mystery. Who strung up the Puppet Master? Sylar?
THe last two episodes have been great. I particularly liked this one, it focused on a few characters....
Last night was particularly good Sylar back in typical Sylar form this is the perfect sidekick/partnership for him Rocket River
last nights episode was good, with syler building up powers pretty fast, there has been no one that could stand up to him, maybe if the petrelli's get together with parkman and hiro/ando they could have a chance. I wonder how long until HRG figures out who was really killed in that episode?
