Hey can someone revive the Fringe thread? I don't want to start a new thread, but it definitely deserves to be talked about this morning!
I mentioned this before, but for the people jumping off the bandwagon, you might want to wait this half of the season out before you are off for good. The guys who screwed up the last season and a half are still writing but after episode 18 (we just saw episode 15), Bryan Fuller returns as the main writer on the show.
Ugh, didn't have any big issues with Monday's show but it just seems like I've seen this all before in X-men or JLU Animated stuff, similar story lines at least.
So, I have a Comcast DVR box on my big TV and can only record 2 shows at once. Monday nights have always typically belonged to 24 and Heroes in the 8-9 timeslot. Well, Heroes has gotten so bad, my wife has now replaced the show on the DVR with one her "personal" shows... One Tree Hill. Yes, that's right. Heroes has been banished to our small kitchen TV's DVR by One Tree Freaking Hill. Will this show even last another season? Of the regular shows on primetime Monday (not including Obama's speech), only Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill pulled in less overall viewers this week. Last week, only Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, True Beauty, and Chuck (just barely) fared worse than Heroes. Bryan Fuller's Heroes episodes can't come quick enough...
People are really critical of the show now... personally I have been entertained even by the poor episodes. There should be some fun action scenes coming up in the next four or five episodes.
Holy hell that episode sucked something fierce. I may be done with this show before the new writing staff takes over.
I would say the same. Not the greatest, but not the worst. Next episode looks to have a lot of action and some interesting sub plots.
Just saw it on G4...my stupid tivo didn't change to the right channel so I got an hour of CMT crap... I liked it and couldn't believe Sylar saved the kid...oh well, he's getting in touch with his feminine side...And Claire standing up to her dad is a good thing, although now that he's out, maybe he'll change..nah...
Just a thought... Ando supercharges others' powers. What would happen if he were to supercharge Peter's power? Would it then permanently rip the power from someone? Or would he just permanently retain them again. Seems like a slam dunk plot device.
Sylar abducting Ando to use him as a supercharger (assuming that he couldn't just take his power and then supercharge himself) would seem to be far more entertaining than watching Peter run around with a supercharger.
Peter doesn't even the ability to temporarily steal power from people He gets their power, and they can still use theirs.
That episode did suck really bad. Sylar Jr is getting on my nerves. He's so dull. Too much Hiro and Sylar Jr. Lame new hero with the ability to breath underwater. He's a danger to the government? WTF?! There was only a cameo of Matt Parkman, my favorite character.
This is a possible spoiler, when I get confirmation I'll gladly link it up, apparently there was an interview with Milo (Peter) and he eluded to this: Spoiler Papa Petrelli will return, that is the latest rumor. With his return Hiro and Peter will have their powers fully restored....
So Parkman and Mohinder are fugitives and Daphne is dead. Anyone think that Molly might need someone to cook her some dinner?
Speaking of Molly, what the hell happened to her? Never really saw an explanation for that one either.
