Yeah the Haitian is probably my favorite character in the show. Sylar's power is nothing like Peter's actually. Sylar's original power is understanding how things work and fixing them. Thats why he had to bludgeon the first guy to steal his telekinesis powers. then he ripped his head open to see how his brained work and (something to do with the adrenal gland) and fixed his own brain to now have that ability as well. Peter's power is just straight absorption through proximity (which i think is lame since he literally could have 100s of powers making him a God) I wonder if Peter gained his ability back because of the eclipse.
Um...did you miss the last couple episodes or something? They made a pretty big spiel about it. Sylar has Peter's exact power. He used Elle's ability by thinking about how she made him feel. That makes it even more pointless that he was cutting Elle's head open.
Im with you on hoping that Claire just stayed dead. I seriously can't stand her one bit. Her character sucks, she is butt ugly, she doesnt know how to act (I mean seriously I have not see a worse actor then her...she always does that annoying thing with her eyes no matter what kind of emotion she is suppose to be displaying) Even though this episode sucked, this show still would have moved forward if they had just killed off claire forever!
Eclipse Part II ended, then when is the next episode out? this episode is quite boring and it contains a whole episode with the thing should be stretched out in last episode.what the hell. and I'm really curious about pete's ability because it says that It all began with the eclipse, and then there came another eclipse that kill off their power temporarily,so after the eclipse gone, should every powerful person get their power back?
My guess is the latest eclipse "activates" new abilities in people who have never had abilites before. New friends, new foes.
I hope you're right because there're still 14 episodes left,it should contain alot of mysteries and enigmas of what's going to happen. Who's gonna be new friends and who's new foes, that's what we gonna expect of in the next episode I think. Is Sylar a truly villain,I thought Angela did a good job to transform him into a good people and we also saw an episode with futurn sylar cooking the breakfast for his kid and embracing Peter like old chum. Who thinks he's a good guy instead of a vigilante?
I hope Sylar sticks to being a bad guy, hes awesome as a bad guy. I think he is good in a way. He has learned that he can't control his hunger so he is just gonna keep doing what he does. Fine by me. Tonight's episode really kicked it into high gear though...my love for Heroes has been rekindled. I am hoping Sylar decides to kill Nikki (or whatever her name is now) and he starts going crazy killing everyone who is given powers. He can be the guy who regulates the people who flip out and abuse their powers.
I liked the show last night...Sylar is bad azz...Will miss Elle as she was hawt...Hiro lost in space is crazy...But if the dad knew Hiro was going to be there and his mom had the catalyst, why wait? How exactly did Peter get the scare? i mean, did he shoot twice and the first once bounced back?
It looked like the Haitian lost control of Arthur, Arthur used TK to try to get at Peter and all in the same moment Peter shot, Arthur Swiped at Peter and Sylar came in and froze the bullet. In all, a really good episode that really sets the stage for next weeks mid season finale.
I'm tired of Arthur Patrelli, I hope he's dead for good. I thought it was bad when Peter kept stacking up powers but Arthur is ridiculous. How did he even have the ability to pull the catalyst out of Hiro? And doesn't Arthur have to take your powers for him to have them? How did he get Hiro's power before he took them from him? I'm glad that Sylar is evil again, because I would never get on board with him trying to redeem himself. He's killed far too many people.
Don't have an answer for the others but he got time travel from the catalog of powers he took from Peter.
Makes sense. I really hate that they keep the powers. The easiest way to have prevented them from being so powerful would be to make it wear off like Rogue from the X-Men.
Good episode, curious to see how this super solider deal works out, so is he just super strong or something else too?
I was thinking the same thing...I thought he already had Elle's powers or learned how to get them w/o killing...
