They covered that last week. Nathan was given his abilities, the mom said that when he and Tracy went to see her.
Damn, that was a good episode, especially towards the end. Can't wait for next week. Have they talked about how Nathan came back from his gun wounds yet?
Maybe I missed it. I thought Linderman did it, but we found out he is just a hallucination. I am not sure. Maybe leftover blood in his system from the time that Adam injected him with his.
I think the dad can give back abilities too (not just absorb). I think he just temporarily took Peter's abilities away until he can convince Peter to do his bidding. ...can't wait for the showdown between the red fire lady and the blue fire guy.. u know it's gonna happen.
I was wondering about that too. Could be that Parkman Sr. made the whole gunshot bit as a mass hallucination, so there would not be any actual 'healing' to be done. That's a stretch, and I can't quite figure how they would finagle it seeing as how Peter was definitely trying to shoot Nathan. Maybe Nathan has more powers than we have been led to believe.. Most likely scenario is that Papa Petrelli arranged to have him healed somehow...
Mr. Petrelli is now very powerful, the only hope to save the world right now is the Haitian. This guy has a badass ability but he is never used to do a lot of stuff.
I'd bet a silver dollar that all of the people that Mohinder has captured and placed in cocoons are NOT dead, merely hibernating. I do think Maya is as good as gone, though, probably to wake up after Mohinder is fixed and then moving far far away. (Thankfully) I just don't think they'd turn the character who narrates most of the time into a mass murderer. If those people are really dead, they're going to have a hell of a time trying to redeem Mohinder after this, as he seems like he's in complete control over what he's doing, minus some angry aggressive outbursts. If they're dead...then he might have to remain a heel. It probably won't change the fact that he's mostly useless, whatever way they decide to spin it.
Maybe Hiro will end up defeating Poppa Petrelli. You know how that African painter said that he passed the test because he accomplished his goal without using his powers. Or Peter will own his dad the same way, since he has no more powers. At this point the story can go anywhere and I love that!!!
So did Nikki die from the explosion at the end of last season? Do we have a clear answer yet? Anyway, Tracy is hotter. And I totally called Papa Petrelli being an important character in the series.
They showed her body in the casket when Tracy went to go investigate about her. Then Micah saw Tracy...etc.
That was a good episode. I spent lots of time ragging on the show when they dissapointed....so time to give them props now.
I absolutely love what they've done with Sylar/Gabrielle. I'm floored. Does that need a spoiler tag? I say everything in the thread shouldn't need a spoiler tag.
I agree. I was all against his storyline for this season, as noted earlier in this thread, but now I'm rooting for the guy.
Why did they just do what they did in the end of the latest episode? That just screws up so much of my hypothesis about everything. I understand they want people to watch the show, but jeebus u don't pull that card unless its the season finale. .....Can't wait till Monday
