I have no idea why that show would take a while to get put up. Perhaps NBC shows get put up faster? Interesting to know, though.
networks may delay of the available stream such as House M.D. from Fox... they let viewers stream their newest episode 8 days after it's debut
I just caught up ...NBC still not on our cable network so I record it Wed night on Mojo...and have to avoid this thread until then. Hiro killing Ando was unexpected.... DD
Okay that makes sense... Sons of Anarchy is on FX so maybe it's part of their agreements with specific networks/entities. Thanks!
really sucks not having NBC...stupid affiliate...hearing time warner and affiliate are no where near an agreement. super bowl is on NBC this year...i dont get it. NBC should just get another affiliate on time warner guess i'll just watch it tommorow when it pops up online
That was an amazing episode.....though how is it that the flash girl runs wild in front of everybody and nobody seems to notice?? Many little things irk me about the show............... though overall the story just got a lot more interesting....
Good episode. So I'm guessing Arthur has the ability to take away people's powers? At first I thought he disintegrated people after what happened to Adam Monroe. But now it makes sense that he simply takes away their powers while absorbing them after he touched Peter. A 400 year old Adam without his regeneration power is just a pile of bone and dust, and that's exactly what happened.
Solid episode. I hope the writers can keep this up a whole season. They really learned from their mistakes last season.
I thought this one got back to the "comic book come to life" feel that most of the first season had. Great storyline, sort of felt like the episode had it's own little completed arc... and a bunch of great one - liners "what I want, Barbie, is to not be interrupted" Ando: I don't know, they all look alike. Hiro: That's racist Matt: Give me a sign (sees Daphne below him on the escalator) High five turtle!
That would be awesome if he lost his arm....but the doctor recovered from her ice touch a few episodes back (inexplicably - when your arm freezes like that, your blood freezes, and that can't just rethaw and everything's fine again). I also thought it was a bit brazen for Daphne to use her powers in a crowd like that. I liked the Adam West Batman nod: "meanwhile, at the abandoned Doyle puppet theater..." Still can't tell if Mya is savable or not....but I'm hoping she's dead. Ballsy of them to kill off Adam like that - I really liked him. One of the best actors on the show. Yet we need to keep "your fear makes me strong" guy...ugh. I'm wondering if the reason Peter needed Sylar's power was to trojan horse the power over to his dad. Send him offkelter. Hopefully, powered-down Peter reverts to form and we're done with roid rage Peter. It's all I can handle to put up with polar opposite Sylar (and Suresh). Evan
i'm trying to watch this episode on nbc and i can't freakin get to it. when i go to view the episode it just takes me to some page where i can only view highlights. i watched it last week online and now this is driving me crazy that i can't get this to work. edit....its on hulu
I hope Maya is dead too. I personally hated Adam..his whole storyline was boring. I'm glad he died like he did. I didn't like the fact that Peter's powers were reset though. What I don't get is...if Peter absorbs powers from other people without even touching them, will he just reabsorbs his powers from his dad? Or was his initial power from his dad to begin with, just a more watered down version? Weird. But I loved the episode, and I can't wait for next week. They should make Sylar a funny guy, he has the face to be funny.
I was thinking maybe his dad stole Peter's ability to absorb power too...which would make him ridiculously too powerful of course.
Hmm yea I guess you're right. So maybe this is where the whole "Formula for giving abilities" might come into play for Peter. Since he needs power in order to stop his dad. Or he would have to rely soley on Sylars help. Maybe injecting Peter with the formula will give back his power.
good episode. i'm glad they are starting to get rid of some of the plot holes. if the writers keep this up then the rest of the season should be great.
well peter's dads power is to not just absorb but to steal another persons power. peter could just absorb a power but the other person still kept their power. now whats i am not sure if people can stop from their powers from being absorb. Future sylar was able to do it and only allowed peter to take it when he wanted to. peters dad may not even know peter's true ability he showed peter his "electric" power that peter showed everyone. Peter tried to use his telekenesis (sp?) power to push his dad away from what it looks like and his dad showed him the electricity. peter probably did absorb the other people's power but he doesnt know how to use them/control them and i think they only get activated "during times of stress" and once he "activates" them he can use them otherwise they remain dormant. oh and i was bummed they kill adam i enjoyed his character...the fear guy is annoying especially how he breathes in air to show he is getting "stronger" the funny thing is if he just is able to touch daphne papa petrelli would be unstoppable in stealing everyone's power
