Without Harden this team would likely be top 5 pick in the lottery. Ya'll are such unappreciative and misinformed haters.

meh, the only difference between this Harden and last year's Harden was that the team won more games.

individually there's not so much, he played the same way last year, maybe a bit better defense and maybe a big more consistent.

And Harden is better than both of them.

James Harden is every bit as good as he has ever been.

The only guards in the entire NBA arguably better than him are Curry and Westbrook.

The list of players better than Harden is very short.

Yeah and neither one of them are remotely close to as good as Harden.

The advanced stats for Klay's defense are not kind....... and the on/off stats for Butler are very similar defensively to Harden's.

Klay sees consistent single coverage and gets a lot of open shots. Overall he isn't nearly the player Harden is.

I like Butler because he is a good defender, but he isn't better than Harden overall and he is roundly disliked in his own locker room.

You would trade for one of them for harden straight up?

I'd like to see either of those guys carry this team to the playoffs for 4 straight years. This year especially. Harden is the only reason we've been relevant.

Other SG's also include Lance Stephenson, Aaron Afflalo and Dion Waiters.

Starting with the very next game after your post up until now(53 games) he is shooting:

    .454/.371/.856 with a .611 TS%

To bring his season averages up to:

    .438/.357/.860 with a .598 TS%

    Compared to his career numbers:

    .443/.367/.855 with a .605 TS%

    Got any stock tips?

I, for one, am shocked that 1 month of shooting did not end up representing Harden's entire season and that his shooting averages ended up averaging out to what his career averages have been. Shocked, I tell you!

Hard to say. Harden has more talent, skill, and a higher ceiling, but he played worse this year. Depends on if you think Harden will be more like 2015 Harden in the future

Shooting was never the problem. Defense, being fat, getting to the rim less and turnovers

I won't deny Harden gets a lot of points a game. I still can't stand the way he gets half his points. He is an average shooter who throws his arms up under someone to draw fouls. It's disgusting to watch, but I guess I would hate him more if he was doing that to our players. It is almost amusing to see his arms go flailing up, and the ball fly up, when you know he wasn't even trying to shoot. People rave about how good he is, but it isn't a skill I compare to great shooters. I really wonder why the refs give him all those calls when it is so obvious he is just drawing them on purpose. I think it is dirty, and a cheap way an average shooter has found a way to get to the free throw line to make so many points.

He rarely throws to Howard anymore. What is so great about scoring 40 points if you take 3 times as many shots as anyone else? He is no better percentage wise as half our team on anything other than free throws. Give me a break with all the Hardin loving. If Beasley took 3 times as many shots as Hardin he would score the same. You Hardin lovers need to realize nobody hours think is a star will be a star with Harden. He will ensure he gets the most points at all cost. Stars will always take second fiddle to the Beard....and the T in team will always come after the ego of Harden.

Without Harden, we'd have threads about getting Harden.

Oh I don't doubt that. We could get a couple good players for him I am sure.
