This is the first game in the series that all of the endings are the same. They did it because they feel the ending truly ties everything together. I'm excited to see it, but I've been busy practicing for tournaments. Also Ive been trying to play co-op with a friend of mine (we always co-op together), but he has some odd work hours. I've been playing it on legendary on single player as well so I don't have to wait (and the extra achievements).
ROFLMAO !! So you are saying it takes skill but it doesn't take skill? Why not just say you like to play a slimmed down game where you bunny hop around shooting the same gun on the same maps, over and over. DD
The campaign was amazing, but way too short. Art work was beautiful, levels were great, tie ins to combat evolved were cool. They really could have easily doubled the length of the campaign by increasing some of the mission's lengths. for example, when you had to defend something, they could have made it last longer, add more elites, etc. overall, i give the campaign a B+. If it would have taken me 8 hours instead of 5, it would have been given a solid A.
Um no, I said certain people can be very good at driving or flying. That does not mean it requires skill to kill people with vehicles. I have a certain amount of respect for you due to you being a developer, but straight up you have no clue what makes a good competitive game. That's very obvious from your statements.
Most games now limit the story line because they know people sometimes dont even play it. I have owned COD 2 for 8 months and not once have I touched the story mode. Gaming has evolved.
Variety does not equal better. Look at MW2 and Left4Dead 2. The original in those series are 2 of the best online games ever, but in the sequels, they added too many weapons/perks/larges maps, etc and made them a lot worse.
You realize some of us (me) are posting from smartphones right? As a matter of fact I'm outside right now. GG though.
Straight up, I find you thinking that you know more about what makes a competitve game, quite hilarious. The issue is that you like a certain type of game, and we are aware of the players like you who enjoy man on man action. But we are selling to a mass market, and make games for more than just a smallish category of gamer like yourself. And yes, it is a smallish category - it is the hard core group, who consider themseleves elitist because they play with just guns or knives etc.... It all boils down to personal choice, those are the games you like, others like vehicles and variety. My view is that you are probably very skilled at the one on one action and feel that the vehicles are beneath your style.... IMO, a really really skilled player is good at everything......but...that is my opionion, and you are entitled to yours as well, just keep buying those games. You missed the point completely it is not about variety of weapons, but variety of game play types. Vehicles, tunnels, detructible buildings, challenges, high ground, low ground, multiple ways to win etc..etc..etc.... DD
I won 2 world championships in Halo PC, a CAL-invite championship in CounterStrike Source, I was CEVO-professional in CSS, and CALinvite in RTCW: enemy territory. If you really think YOU, mr. Vehicles-require-skill, knows more about competitive gaming than me you've got another thing coming. I didn't want to put out the resume, and I've tried to be civil with you but it's obvious that is not possible. Also, please note those were all PC games. I'm done talking to you, ignorance is bliss.
seriously dood. You are arguing about a game. Plus you are trying to argue with DD. Then you brag about how much time you've spent playing games as though it will impress someone...
Nope, I have a few friends that have won national tournaments at fighting games however. I don't play them. Donkey: why are you even in the thread? You think I care what YOU think? Please. Also who said anything aout time spent? I simply stated accomplishments. Fact is, I won over $40,000 playing video games. Have you ever won anything other than a $2 scratch off lottery ticket?
I can't believe people are trying to argue that vehicles take skill. There is a reason why competitive gaming like MLG doesn't include them into their custom maps.
