    i also agree to this. Klow, Kmart, Scola, and hayes won't let this team tank.

    We're not a championship team, but were not a top 10 pick team either. The rockets are a borderline playoff team and with lowry, Martin, scola, and Hayes this team WILL NOT TANK because they play with so much heart and teamwork. They are not Cleveland, Toronto, Washington, Detroit etc. Only way this teams falls below 10 is if they get rid of those 4 guys. That's why this team is "too good to tank"

    Why would a 45 win team tank? o_O

    IF 2/3 (Kevin Martin, Scola and Lowry) get injured then I would accept tanking

    45 win team out of 50 games, or in a 82 game season? I hope you mean a regular season.

    Either way, we should tank this short season. I'd rather have 1 bad season and get a top pick than barely miss the playoffs over the next 5 seasons and wind up with pick 14 over and over.

    But that's just me, I just want a good team.

    Another season where we get blown out in the first round, another season with a mid first round "NBA ready" draft pick. No thanks, I'd rather trade our vets and tank for a top five pick.

    I'm also excited about that $7.4 mil. TE that they still have until the all-star break, IIRC.

    The Rockets are the only reason i want the lockout to end. I'm ready to see them surprise the entire league, including some clutchfans.

    I really haven't been truly "excited" about the Rockets for the past couple of seasons. It seems we are just staying the course for now, but with Yao officially out of our way, I think we can finally rebuild. The last time I was excited was when we traded for Artest.

    Did some searching and found this thread. Wow, people were so excited back then.

    I would be happy to end up with one of these, though less so with Dalembert:

    Tyson Chandler, Dallas Mavericks – Unrestricted
    Nene, Denver Nuggets – Unrestricted
    Marc Gasol, Memphis Grizzlies – Restricted ($4.5 million Qualifying Offer)
    Samuel Dalembert, Sacramento Kings – Unrestricted

    I doubt that McHale will be as successful as Adelman, but he might help our young big men quite a bit.

    I am excited.

    Hill will be noticeably better by the end of January. I'm a little surprised to still see the Hill hatred. Oh, well.

    It will be interesting to see if the Rockets pick up Thabeet's option.
