I don't know if I've said it yet on this forum, but Rashard Lewis became the new Juwan Howard when he signed that contract with Orlando.
1 Rashard, right now, isn't any better than Juwan was 7 years ago. Seriously. 2 When he is 34 years old, I bet Rashard is no better than Juwan is now. 3 In the final analysis, Juwan's career stats will be better than Rashard's. Every time I see the Magic play (which is often this season) and observe Rashard's numerous limitations, Juwan and his $105MM contract with the Wizards comes to mind. Even at this stage in his career, Rashard is a tertiary player, at best. Just wait until he starts declining.
The best flopper in the league. Gives his team almost 1 extra possession per game. The deal is better than the 1+ mil qualifying offer. more guarantee money. Basically, the Cavs will need to trade him after 1 season or give him an extension otherwise he'll walk.
Admittedly, I haven't seen Varejao much, only in the playoffs last year. His lack of talent overwhelmed me enough that I was all s when I saw that he held out and the Cavs didn't give in. The guy stinks, especially on offense, which is especially a problem since he thinks he's Al Jefferson. I don't see him being anymore than a failure.
varejeo or however you spell it sucks and should have been happy and honored to play on the the same court as LEBRON
Bucher puts a different spin on it. Especially with the title "Cavs appear to have miscalculated in Varejao dealings"
