Right now it is Wade's team. By the end of the season that may not be the case. I mean from top the bottom most of the guys on the Miami roster was not on the team last year. There is a good chance it will be LeBron's team. But some people have their minds made up and will say it is Wade's team no matter what.
Anybody with a brain would realize that you cant be the league MVP and be the second best on your own team--simply ridiculous Anybody with a brain would realize that it doesn't matter whose team it is, the only thing that matters are rings--something that fat loser Charles Barkley knows nothing about.
Yankees are Jeter's team. He is not the best on the squad. ARod is still just a hired hand so many years later.
So if Hakeem had joined the Spurs after David Robinson won the MVP, Hakeem would have been the second-best player on the team?
That's not really a good comparison. Before the playoff series in 1995, there was a lot of debate about who the better player was between Hakeem and Robinson. There hasn't really been much of a debate about who is better between Lebron and Wade. Pretty much everyone picks Lebron. There has been some debate between Lebron and Kobe, but Wade is always picked as a solid #3-4.
LeBron is still the best player in the league and during crunchtime the ball will be in his hands with Wade playing off the ball. Not that I give a damn about this overplayed "WHO'S TEAM IS?!?!" petty argument. That's really all you need to know, though.
When I used the term MVP for LeBron, theres no argument that he is better than Wade. Its just stupid to think that the team is going to execute everything through the second best player on the team. Makes no sense.
MVP means best player in one of the better regular season teams, that's pretty much it. LeBron didn't win nothing in playoff, losing to underdog year after year. Nash was 2 times MVP once too, moved him to Lakers and he's better than Kobe?
We'll see about that. He will have to earn it. I'm pretty sure the ball will be in DWade's hands at the start of the season. Lebron is marginally better player though.
Man you keep making these stupid apples to oranges arguments. Did anyone ever say Nash was better than Kobe? Ever??? I repeat, there is no argument about who the better player is between Wade and LeBron. LeBron hands down. You wanna argue that too?? Sheeesh.
Everyone is already going into the season with the foregone conclusion that the Heat will be the champions next year. The crux of the criticisms going towards Lebron is the perception that he took the easy street to a ring, as well as the sentiment that three superstars together is straight up unfair. Lebron being more motivated could only lead to more winning, and more winning doesn't dispel these criticisms... they reinforce them. The Heat winning 70 games and cruising to a championship won't make people say "oh, I guess I was wrong about that guy." Instead, they'll simply say "yeah, what do you expect with 3 superstars?" Honestly, if Lebron is smart about about all this (which he obviously isn't), he would underachieve enough to bring about doubt in people's minds throughout the regular season, then turn it up for the playoffs. In fact, not winning the first year together would be an even bigger coup as far as fixing his image.
I think Wade is every bit as good as Lebron. I have never seen Lebron play as well as I have seen Wade play before...
You must not watch Cleveland play. Why doesn't anyone call out Barkley on how ironic his statement is since he forced a trade from Philly to Phoenix to try and win but wasn't good enough to get it done then went on another ring chase to Houston. Not only that but he was a prick as a young player. Spitting on a little girl, throwing a guy through a window and never being in great shape his entire career. All those are punk moves. IMO Barkely, driving around drunk and cheating on your wife are the punk moves but nobody will call you out because they are more offended by a 1 hour TV special than a gambling, boozing cheat who spat on a little girl.
