What's the NBA playoff record for consecutive losses to one team ?

It can when you know exactly how to defend Toronto. After all they have the same exact core that's come up short for years.

I'm the first guy that never had faith in the Raptors but i can't believe they just got swept by a team which was few points away from being eliminated by the Pacers...

Also, Stevens gonna take it i guess, but would be hilarious to see Casey win the COY and get fired lol

Awful season for the Raptors. Top in the East, to get swept in the 2nd round.

The most disgraceful way for a #1 seed to go out like that. I am glad this series is over.

Anyone with half a brain can tell this finals is shaping up to be another Cleveland and Golden State match-up. Of course, hoping for the Rockets to beat Golden State but it just doesn't feel realistic considering GS is starting basically 4 all-stars. Pick your poison. We would have had our hands full with Toronto. Cleveland dispatched of them pretty easily with Lebron leading the way.

I could be wrong. Rockets...please prove me wrong!!!

This Raptors team gets blown up. They need to spend a few years in the desert until Lebron retires.

Cavs vs Rockets would be a great series in terms of narrative. Presumptive MVP vs the presumptive runner-up. The Rockets are one of the rumored final four on LeBron's list of teams he's considering this summer. CP3 and LeBron are really good friends.

Or we could be subjected to another Warriors/Cavs snoozefest.

Mavs exit in the first round as the #1 seed, 70+ wins, and with MVP Dirk was more disgraceful when they lost to the #8 seeded Warriors.

Nope. That was a bad matchup, their former coach was guiding their opponent, and the Mavs at least won 2 games in that series.

They learned that their ceiling was way lower than anybody thought and that they can't even win a game against the worst Cleveland team since "I'm coming home?", let alone reach the Eastern Conference Finals.....?

Bright side alert, they're only committed to Derozan (who seems like he was absolutely shattered ) and Lowry for about $145 million for the next 2-3 years.

It's pretty shocking Toronto couldn't even win one game. I thought they had a chance coming in. No cigar. No soup for you!

And this isn't a bad matchup against LeBron?

When you have the MVP on your 70+ team and are favs to win the title and both the MVP and the team get embarrassed by a #8 seeded, its a disaster. No excuses.

One of the most embarrassing things I have seen in NBA history and I enjoyed that Mavs were on the receiving end of it.

What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger.

Just imagine how strong they will be in about 5 years from now.
