with the bulls, lebron would have a stacked team at every position basically as he can play SG. straight up STACKED. now that team has a chance to go 72 wins + the heat are actually not stacked in contrast to popular belief. no PG, C, or bench. they do have 2 of the top 5 players, plus a top 20 player.
Yep, LeBron has enough people around him sucking up. How is LeBron gonna feel when Chicago knocks them out of the playoffs?
I think the Bulls were more stacked than the Heat, even with Bosh, when Lebron was "deciding." But that's just because Rose has stepped up so much this season. IMO, Rose is better than Wade now. But before the season started, most people, including LeBron would take Wade as the proven guy over Rose.
If Lebron had gone to Chicago, he would have def stunted Rose's growth, cos everyone knows Lebron is not just going to quietly stand in the corner like Luol Deng patiently waiting for D.Rose to throw him a pass every now and then. And yes, Lebron is def top 5 in MVP considerations with D.Rose, while Wade is not even in the top 10. I'm sure if Lebron was in Chicago, D.Rose wouldn't be having such an outstanding season or even be in MVP considerations because he would always defer to him. But to every man, his own
the rose hype is crazy. 1) who's more efficient? 2) who's the better defender? 3) who's the better offensive player? 4) would rose be able to put up the same production sharing the ball with another player like lebron? now think about your answer.
If Rose had really wanted to play with LeBron, he would've called him, and talked to him about it. A simple text saying "I'd like to play with you." is just lip-service. I really don't blame Rose for not wanting to play with LeBron though.....the Bulls are clearly his team, and with LeBron coming in there, he probably thought his own career was gonna take a hit. Plus, he seems like the kind of guy who relishes the challenge of BEATING the Superfriends, not joining them.
He also didn't go with the team when it came time to recruit James in person. Rose doesn't want to play with James, period. He was just going along with what the company wanted.
Rose may even be the MVP this year, but I agree he is really getting overrated on this board just like KD was.
