he is more intended to jack off jumpers ,more than hooks or anything .... we need boards and blocks more... anyway, this was only one game, let's see ....
we need him to stop shooting 3's until next year where he'll have practice heaps and heaps more in practice...cos right now hes probably gonna end up a 20% 3point shooter if he keeps this 3point chucking up... but other than that he's just as good as my expectations were when I was campaigning to trade for him from the Atlanta Hawks......putting the huge missed opportunity of signing Channing Frye for free aside...I think we've got another decent role player on our books. I'm sure DA is good enough to knock down 20 foot jumpers consistently. Now hes just got to perfect that and improve his defense and I can see him becoming the next Nenad Krstic (post-ACL injury) not bad for a second rounder all the way back from 2002...
David Andersen is filling out nicely for us. Good iq, good range, as people start scouting him better, it'll stretch the court out even more for us. But you have to love a pick and roll with a big man with range. Opens up the floor nicely for a high post pass, just what Adelman's system calls for.
Is it just me or when you see DA running down the court during the fast break he looks like he's going to drop any moment?
Tracy appreciates him... <a href="http://twitpic.com/owt1g" title="Share photos on twitter with Twitpic"><img src="http://twitpic.com/show/thumb/owt1g.jpg" width="300" height="300" alt="Share photos on twitter with Twitpic"></a>
DA really has offensive game that you can't ignore! Bynum and Odom just can't contain Anderson. Guy got game!
Here's an article I wrote about Andersen- http://bleacherreport.com/articles/291980-hard-road-to-the-nba-paying-off-for-rocket-david-andersen As a fellow Aussie, I'm proud of him. He's doing well in his chances. Anyway, enjoy the article. Would love any feedback/discussion.
