Everyone thinks Yao is too nice of a guy to do anything like that but I'm sure if he probably put a lot of thought into what he has to do he'll do it.

Your logic is flawed. Who carried who in the past is a moot point. McGrady carried this ENTIRE team for the past four years. No one can want him out, according to you. In fact, using your logic, the best player in the previous years can NEVER be outted by his teammates no matter what he does, because... well, he carried them in the past.

If thats the case how come Tmac wasnt the lead scorer even after Yao was out last season. You would think with everyone saying Tmac single handledy took care of the Rockets after Yao went out that he would be leading in scoring but yet his scoring didnt pick up oh but I do know whose did. Quit with that bs already. Why dont you say trade YMing already.

If Yao said it....then my respect for him as a leader has gone up...but now.....Leeb is right.....Yao has to step up and lead...if that is what he is doing.

I am not saying it is right, but for a guy as patient as Yao.....Tmac must really be a cancer for him to want him gone.

Wait... so if he didn't want TMac out, he would not be overrated and would not need to grow a pair and avoid getting blocked by Nate Robinson, etc?

Somehow, I doubt Kobe or Lebron is getting traded...

How did we go from last years "chemistry", 22 win streak, etc. to this. I personally believe one person said one thing, and all these writers are rewording the same statement and blowing it all out of proportion. I could be wrong, but thats usually the case in these situations.

Highly doubt Yao would want him out. Didnt he first say that he owed Tracy alot because of last year and now its his turn to pay him back?

Being a leader is showing it on the court, not whining in secrecy that you want a player off the team.

If true, which I highly doubt it is, my respect for Yao will drop severely.

Maybe he finally just snapped and got tired of Tmac's drama....can't blame him if that is what happened.

    Codell,

If that is how Yao feels, he probably did NOT say it to the press, he would have said it to the organization, and to his teamates and probably TMac himself....

If it comes out, it is not Yao saying it, it is someone getting wind of it and reporting it...

I doubt Yao comments on it at all, he is too classy for that.

Sorry to go back over stuff I posted on earlier but:

    1) Doc Rocket said "All that is inside will become outside" or something. Now this article.
    2) Doc Rocket said "Keep your eyes on Yao Ming". The article states that Yao wants Tracy gone.
    3) Doc Rocket said the conflict between Adelman and McGrady was the SECOND biggest conflict on the team.

Is the biggest conflict between Yao and T-Mac???

If this is true, and Aldridge is a very credible reporter, then you nailed it.

    How is that flawed logic?

It's supposedly a superstar partnership. One guy hasn't carried close to his end of the deal over the 4 years, while the other guy didn't say a word. Now that the latter guy isn't getting it done, the first guy can have the audacity to want him gone? BTW, there's a difference between being 'outted' and wanting someone out. I never said he couldn't criticize T-Mac.

I didn't hear T-Mac say anything when Yao couldn't even stay on the court against Dallas, or when he got his ass handed to him on a platter by Carlos Boozer, or everyone time he's taken a seat due to being fronted, and on and on.

T-Mac's not infallible. In fact, he's proving to be a total douche this year. That doesn't mean it's not a complete joke for Yao to want him traded, if the report is true.
