Maxey, Milton and Thybulle have as much upside as Tate, Porter Jr and Jones c'mon. Porter Jr prob has higher upside than anyone on Philly not named Simmons or Embiid seing as how he was described with lotto potential back in the draft.

Simmons I dunno if he is a great trade chip or not, dude's stock has def fallen this season he costs the super max+15% trade kicker I dunno how many teams want a super maxxed super role player who can't shoot. I'll argue Wood has higher trade value than Simmons because of his offensive prowess and more team friendly contract. Lots of contenders can't afford 30M+15% trade kicker for Simmons but they will totally be interested in 12M a year Wood who is giving the Rox 23 10 on 60% TS.

Embiid indeed a true franchise player but Philly isn't trading him he might as well have zero trade value cuz he not going anywhere till he breaks down or asks out. If he does ask out his value will depend on his health by the time he demands a trade dude has major health risks if he is healthy then yeah Philly can net a king's ransom for him if not they'll get trash for him in return.

Sixers don't have additional 4 picks and 4 swaps from the Nets and they don't have caps pace and flexibility any time soon. Rox def have brighter future.

Because that's a successful season too? It's not an exclusive proposition.

    1. Ok? Doesn't change the fact they have pressure to win now and most likely won't win. You talked about positions having champ expectations without a significant position isn't a great position period. What do you mean great shot? Sixers are +1600 to win behind Lakers, That's not a great shot when Lakers are +250. They're like the 7th team favored to win a championship that's not gread odds or a great shot by any stretch.

    https://mybookie.ag/sportsbook/nba/philadelphia-76ers/

    2. CWood hasn't had a season ending injury like Embiid has had multiple times. Wall, Dipo and Cousins are indeed injury prone but they aren't core pieces of the squad only Wood is. And none of these guys as injury prone as Embiid.

    3. Who cares whether Rivers was hired before or after Morey? He's still there now and Silas better than him. Morey isn't > Stone based on what has happened this offseason. Morey didn't close the deal couldn't get Harden his best haul so far were Danny Green and Seth Curry. Compare Seth Curry to Wood you know who has done the better job so far.

    4. How you know they have many years to contend? Embiid playing on borrowed time. Yeah ok I'll watch out if they get Beal for Simmons. They haven't gotten him yet though. Just wait till the Rockets trade PJ Tucker for Giannis, when that happens....WATCH OUT!

Bruh all those guys were late first rounders you act like they are lotto picks. You're the one with no clue here. If you wanna talk strictly UPSIDE Porter JR had the highest upside coming into the draft Cleveland trade 4 2nd rounders to get him.

Nah if you were happy with the 2018 result why would you talk about the Rox not getting to the Finals in 27 years? According to you they might as well put up a banner as far you concerned so why does not getting tot he finals in 27 years even matter or be worth mentioning? AFAIK putting up a banner should come after making the Finals so if the Rox can put up a banner they might as well have made the Finals.

Right so why bother saying Rox havent made the finals in 27 years if they could put up the banner 2 yrs ago? If you got 100 on your test today you wouldnt say you havent got 80 or higher in your last 4 tests.

Its always great to reach the finals or win every year. Doesnt matter which team it is saying it is unnecessary as it is obvious.

    1. You dont know that though, they are currently number one in the east and are likely the Nets biggest Kryptonite. All those favorability numbers disappear in the playoffs. Did you predict the Nuggets would beat the Clippers? Id rather be them than us. Embid is only 27, pressure isnt as great as it was for the Harden Rockets. I would love to be Philly right now.

    2. Wall and Dipo are the two best players after Woods, unfortunately. Woods is also brittle and has gotten injured multiple times this season.

3.Better than who? How? What evidence is there to suggest that? A 6 game winning streak? Doc has a championship. Stone's off season hasnt been great lol, you are just gassing it up. The Harden trade wasnt even good to me. The deal for Harden didnt happen because of Tillman. Got out of Horford's contract and surrounded Embid and Simmons with shooters. That's amazing. He literally fixed the Sixers in one off season.

4.Embid is 27, thats how I know. The difference is Philly has assets for that, we dont.

    1. Nuggets didn't win the championship, in fact Lakers destroyed them 4-1. We're not talking about ECF or even Finals here, Morey there to win a ring. How many actual upsets happened in the NBA where the 7th least likely team won the championship in the last 20 yrs? I'll wait man. Of course you'd love to be Philly you think the Rox stink and want them to stink even more that's why you wanna gut the team and give their pick to OKC. OTH if this was the Philly board you'd prob say Sixers have no chance to win it all they're the 7th in the running and Embiid is the only dude propping this team up etc. lol I see you man you just love arguing for the sake of it like when you argued Rox should pay PJ Tucker while saying you wouldn't pay PJ Tucker. LOL

    2. Right but none of them are as brittle as Embiid and the Rox aren't as dependent on either Wall and Dipo as well. Rox even routinely sit out Wall in B2B right now Philly can't afford that as they are 0-4 without Embiid. The most Wood has sat out is 2 games when he rolled his ankle that's a lot less than what Embiid has sat out and more importantly its not a serious injury unlike Embiid. There's no structural integrity to Wood's legs unlike Embiid and with his slight frame there isn't a lot of wear and tear on his body as well unlike Embiid. Dipo fit enough to work out after games you know what I'll take his health over Embiid's as well.

    3. Do you have any single article that says Stone and Silas haven't been doing a great job since they took the role? Almost every media article I have read has praised the job him and Silas has done so far. SIlas even won WCF coach of the month. Who predicted Rockets would be 9-9 after Harden left? I'm not saying Morey didn't do a good job, I'm saying Silas did a better job. Getting 3 pt shooters for Simmons and Embiid isn't rocket science. Rivers winning a championship with Celtics Big 3, Rondo, Perkins, James Posey and Sam Casell and Tom Thibs as the lead assistant? Big whoop man even Dumbtoni will win a ring with that lineup. That team coaches itself and if you needed a coach you have Tom Thibs out there to do the actual coaching. Put me in that role I prob win a championship even if I didn't know what was happening on the court.

    4. You just started your post saying we don't know how things will turn out now you so confident Simmons will be gone for Beal lol. Like Wiz will want Simmons to pair with WB c'mon now. Sixers wont do that cuz Simmons gonna walk away from them as soon as his deal is done and prob go to the Lakers or something.

    1. But they beat a championship contender. Morey has time lol, Embid is 27. These games arent played on paper. Why not quit now? They have time to improve their team. Nope. Im just saying Philly is in a better position than the Rockets and its true. And tanking doenst guarantee that pick for OKC i dont know why you say that.

    2. Wall and Dipo are literally are second and third best player, we do depend on them lol. Embid looks like he's more durable than Woods this season tbh.

    3. He was nominated for coach of the month, Quin Snyder won it. But I think Silas has done a fine job. Stone hasnt done much. And I dont think the Nets deal is that good. Its a bad gamble. I know what the Nets deal is and people can praise however they want to, I dont like it. What? Here some new for you , no coach wins in the NBA without good players. Dantoni and Doc both have pedigrees as good coaches, much more than Silas right now. You only have a 6 game winninng streak to say that. And Silas isnt that different from Dantoni.

    4. Im confident in Morey to flip Simmons to help their team out dramatically and increases their finals odds, that was just an example. They could trade for Zach Lavine and even that would be pretty damn good. You cant just prop up Silas and Stone for like a very small amount of success when comparing them to Morey and Dantoni, it has not been long at all.

    1. Ok? Pistons beat Sixers so by that logic Pistons are a championship contender as well. Sixers have the best record cuz they had one of the easiest schedules so far, look at the Rox they dont have a contender for the next 10+ games thats the kind of sched Sixers had before. Wait till season is over before you crown them the best record in EC. Beating a contender one game doesn't change their status to 7th likeliest team to win a championship again when's the last time the 7th likeliest team won the championship in the NBA? Still haven't answered that.

    2. Again with the irrelevant statements who said Rox don't rely on Dipo and Wall? Rox have shown they can win games with 1 of them out Philly hasnt won 1 game without Embiid. If Wall or Dipo miss the season the Rox might not even take a hit just move EG to starting role GG done. If Embiid is out their season is done.

    3. Nah Silas has as much of a pedigree as Dumbtoni or Rivers he has been a professional assistant coach with decades of AC experience. I'd argue he even has more experience than Rivers or Dumbtoni cuz these 2 guys always been head coaches, its always their style and their way of doing things Silas has worked with multiple HC and seen all types of coaching styles up close. He even worked with some of the players like Wood before already. Silas is a lot different from Dumbtoni just the stress on defense alone makes him different. He also trusts young guys immediately Tate for example started within the first month House got locked in the doghouse for like 6 mos before Dumbtoni trusted him. I dont agree with Silas' rotations but I didn't agree with Dumbtoni's rotations even more so that's a major improvement. Silas also knows that wins aren't as important as preserving the health of his squad he sits players quickly Dumbtoni doesn't care he just wants the highest margin at all cost we had multiple instances of key players like Harden or Cp3 being out and about even with the game already decided. Silas sat his guys early in the 4rth so that's a huge ass plus. Silas has a lot more open mind than Dumbtoni Silas worked with Wood before and Wood sucked and got cut. Years later they work again and he trusted Wood to succeed and he did. Dumbtoni had a bad experience with Dwight and Melo and just made them persona non grata. Dumbtoni didn't even wanna talk with Dwight and obviously didn't give Melo a second chance and almost destroyed his career prematurely.

    4. You are right it hasnt been long thats whats amazing about Stone and Silas they done so much in such a short time. I didn't say Morey is mailing it in now I said Stone is better than mailing it in Morey which he clearly was the last couple of years here in Houston. He even resigned cuz he didn't want the job anymore clearly he was mailing it in prior that. Dumbtoni and Rivers have done nothing but prove they can't get the job done Rivers let that inferior Nuggets team school his squad and Dumbtoni is on his 3rd try to win a ring with a multi talented squad. Silas at his worst will be just as good as these 2 guys at not getting the job done so I'd take him he might have upside. You are confident Morey will increase their Finals chances but again Morey isn't there to get to the Finals he is there to win a ring. That's the diff between Philly and Houston Philly's season is a failure if they don't win a ring Rox can just enjoy the ride. That's why Rox are in a much better position cuz they can build for the future Morey will start selling assets in a bid to win now just like what he did in Houston.

    1. Im talking about the Nuggets. Sixers are still a really good team with a 27 year old MVP candidate, end of story. That's much better than the Rockets, which they are and they will likely be better these next three years than the Rockets. Would love to be proven wrong though.
    2. It matters that they are out, you likely wont win as much games if they get hurt.
    3. Nope. Sorry assistant coaching experience, doesnt trump multiple WCF,ECF and finals appearances by both dudes as head coaches. Silas actually runs a very similar offense to Dantoni in 2016-2017. Dantoni has had top 10 defense twice in Houston and Silas is literally using the switch everything scheme, drop coverage has sucked.
4, Morey was never mailing it in. Tillman hamstrung him. Thats why he left. Dantoni should have 2 rings, that is a fact. He's a future hall of famer, that is also a fact. Nothing you can do will change that. Philly has time though, that's what you dont get. Embid is 27 and Simmons can be flipped.

    1. Nuggets? Maybe you meant Sixers but got confused arguing with somebody else. You didn't say anything about being better, you said better POSITION. Rox are in a better position than the Sixers cuz they aren't trying to win a championship while being the 7th most likely team to win a championship. No matter how you dress it every season Sixers aren't champion is a failed season, that's not a good position at all. End of story.

    2. So what if they don't win games Rox again aren't competing for a championship. What if Embiid gets hurt? Sixers are trying to win a championship here not the Rockets. If Wood, Wall and Embiid all got hurt who is the team with the failed season Rockets or Sixers?

    3. What do you mean nope lmao. Just because you say something isn't so doesn't mean it is you aren't God for crying out loud. I'm not talking about accomplishments I'm talking about EXPERIENCE. Experience isn't received by getting to the WCF or ECF, by the way Dumbtoni hasn't even reached ECF or Finals. Experience is obtained by being in a lot of different situations as assistant coach for different coaches its just factually true Silas has had more exposure than either Rivers or Dumbtoni. Dumbtoni in particular spent most of his career with Nash Suns or Harden Rockets. That's not a lot of experience since its all with the same guys doing the same thing year after year. If you a teller doing the same thing for 30 years then you are an experienced teller but that's all you know, you have 0 experience with other functions in a bank. Silas has interned with young coaches, old coaches, rookie coaches, experienced coaches. He has been in assistant coach in contending teams and rebuilding teams. He has coached in fast paced and slow paced, in traditional and analytical game styles. He is the son of Paul Silas who is an esteemed and elite HC himself. He been with losing program like Charlotte Bobcats and also with top notch organizations like GSW and Dallas Mavs. Compared to Dumbtoni who let Steve Nash do all the heavy lifting and looked lost AF when he didn't have a HOF pg doing everything for him Silas has a lot more experience. Ty Lue got to ECF, Finals and Championship his first year as a head coach you telling me he has more experience his rookie year than Dumbtoni? LOL. Dumbtoni being HOF is again irrelevant where did I say Dumbtoni isn't going in the HOF? All you know how to do is evade and answer with irrelevant crap nobody even mentioned.

    4. Again do you have the Sages eyes? When I say something you say you never know how things turn out and then in the same post you say **** like you know the real scoop. Morey said in his resignation it's the right time for him to go, he wouldn't be there forever and he wants his children to go to school. Those aren't the statements of a man excited and enthusiastic about his job that's the man who is stepping down of his own accord. If Tillman hamstrung him then thats even more incentive for him to mail it in, why will he do his best when he is hamstrung? Nothing you said is any evidence Morey wasn't mailing it in. However the rockets always trading their picks, just blindly getting whatever vets they can get is evidence of him mailing it in. The fact that he resigned when Fertita had no intention of firing him makes it more likely he was mailing it in. All arrows point to him mailing it in. You making declarative statements and saying irrelevant crap has nothing to do with him not mailing it in.

5, We dont know if Sixers have time or not. Embiid is only 27 but he has had season ending injuries throughout his career and his health has not improved over the years. Even if they have time what you don't get is they are in WIN NOW mode. You realize what that means? Every year you are in WIN NOW mode and don't win that season is a failure. Thats what being in Win NOW mode meansm it isn't WIN MAYBE or WIN NEXT SEASON. Rox had 5 years of time to win a ring and didnt win a ring, it was a failed season every year. Morey can flip assets to get better but there's no guarantee Sixers will still win a ring. Like I said they are the 7th most likely team to win a ring, even if they get Beal that's not more talent than what Lakers have.

Being in a better position isn't about having the most talent, its about who is achieving the goals they set for the season. Lakers are the team in the best position, and OKC is the team with the 2nd best position in the league. There's a wide gap in terms of talent level in these two teams, but in terms of being in best position they are extremely close. 76ers aren't in a good position, they have a goal of winning the championship but they aren't close to it being the 7th in the running. That's not a good position as the 7th team hasnt won a ring in forever end of story.

    1. Mmmk, you are not following the convo hear. No they are not. We dont have any championship prospects in the next three years. The Sixers are in a position to compete for years. Sixers>Rockets. They have a franchise player, we do not.

    2. The problem with yours is, Sixers have a future to compete, the Rockets dont. So there is that. Embid is only 27, again.

    3. You typed out a whole lot to say something that was factually incorrect and pretty bad. No he doesn't have more experience than Dantoni. Mainly because he was an assistant. Dantoni has been a head coach for way longer. Silas has not. Silas has never been to WCF nor won 60 plus games as a head coach. Facts. And when I was talking ECF and Finals, I was talking about Rivers who also has more experience than Silas. LOL goofy, do you think Rivers and Dantoni went straigh t to being a head coach? They both have been assistants for many years. Dantoni has a stories career overseas for coaching. Silas lets Woods do all the heavy lifting? See how dumb that sounds? You sound dumb when you try to say him coaching Nash(and helped turn him into an MVP) is Nash doing the heavy lifting. The fact is, all coaches need great players to win. Tye Lue does factually have more expereince than Silas as a head coach, thats a fact too. But he's also been an assistant but I also never mentioned Tye Lue LOL. See how easy it is for me to refute these points dude? You dont have an argument. Oh yea and btw...Dantoni should have at least two rings(maybe three) right now. ;)

    4. LOL, they have assets dude. They can make trades holy crap, its not that hard to figure out what the Sixers can do. Morey was lying, he hates Tillman. LMAO there is plenty of ****ing evidence he did mail it in. Morey has never made so many cost cutting moves at the expense of our team than he did in 2018-2019. And we have insiders who can attest to that. Looooool, the only reason Tillman didnt fire him was because than he would have to pay out Morey's contract. Everything is just "mailing it in" to you man. There is so much info out there about this whole situation. Sheesh.

    1. Sixers dont have championship prospect right now either like I keep telling you they are 7th in the rankings right now whens the last 7th rank team to win a championship? If you cant say then Sixers have no championship prospect period. Having a franchise player doesnt automatically mean you will win a ring Portland has a better franchise player than the Sixers guess what both these teams have little to no chance to win a ring this season.

    2. What does compete even mean? Rox are competing right now 0.5 games out of division lead.
They on a 6 game winning pretty obvious they are competing right now lmao.

    3. Ok so Ty Lue in his first year got a championship he has more experience than Dumbtoni then right? According to your logic Dumbtoni never been to the Finals and never won a ring while Ty Lue has done both. Facts.

    4. Rox have assets too duh, what do you call Wood, 4 swaps and 4 picks? Just because you have assets doesnt mean you will automatically become real contenders we have to see what Morey does with those assets first cuz right now they only 7th best team. Philly has some assets but thats not a slam dunk to catapult them from 7th to first wtf.

Right so you agree with me Morey mailed it in cuz theres a lot of evidence so stop arguing wtf.

1.Which is still a shot and more than the Rockets and more than the Rockets will be in 3 years. Embid is literally an MVP candidate right now. He's leading. Doesnt matter, better than the Rockets and room to grow from it in 3 years.

    2. Looooooooooool, sip on the koolaid some more.

    3. No goofy LOL. They literally just have more head coaching experience. They likely have more experience as assistants too(maybe not Lue but Dantoni yes). Dantoni didnt go straight to being a head coach. You are wrong and dont know what you are talking about and consistently show it.

    4. LMAO they have a bunch of picks that we dont know what they are and bunch of protected picks. Sixers have more assets to use in Simmons, Maxey, Thybulle if they want to improve their team. LOL goofy, you said it yourself that it is unlikely we trade Wood so what does that even mean? Yea, we've never seen Morey use assets in good trades right LOL.

No, goofy, I dont. Quit while you are behind.
