I was outside playing beer pong till about 5 min ago, watching this delayed on dvr.

I'm kind of amazed this thread is so short...then again. T shirt fans....

I just turned on the game, hoping for a good atmosphere. Hope DKR is like Kyle Field. That place was crazy last week.

If we can pull off the upset in Nebraska tomorrow, we will be bowl eligible for the first time since I have been in college.

 

So you expect the intensity and interest of a fan base to be the same whether they're undefeated and contending for a national championship as when they're 5-6 and a massive disappointment? What a shock, fans posting less when their team is awful! What an incredible, crazy phenomenon that definitely doesn't occur anywhere else!

I think Uprising lives in College Station, so he's cool with me. I think he attended A&M too, but not sure. He does have a point about UT students/alum/fans totally abandoning their team though.

 

Greg davis strikes again with that terrible bubble screen on 3rd and long >.<

 

Down 10 with 12 minutes, desperately needing at least a field goal and on the A&M 42-yard line (meaning you need at least 10 or so yards), Greg Davis calls... a give-up swing pass behind the line of scrimmage.

I know it's typical, but it's so absurd. At least try...

 

Been a fun game though. nice atmosphere.

Lone star games are fun, regardless of the outcomes.

As for he people that quoted my last post, you guys aren't t-shirt fans. It's other posters who used to light up threads like this one. Lone Star showdown used to be a big thread in the past.

Fun game, I'm enjoying it.

 

They're better off kneeling inside the 10. Best hope to score a TD is on defense or on a busted A&M coverage from the middle of the field.
