RIVALRY WEEK: So it's rivalry week this week on CFB... some really good match ups... all across the board, looking forward to most of them, especially the big one on Thanksgiving and the SEC match up on Friday. Notable Games: Texas A&M-Texas- ESPN 7 PM CST (THURS) West Virginia-Pittsburgh- ABC 11 AM CST (FRI) Auburn-Alabama- CBS 1:30 PM CST (FRI) Colorado-Nebraska- ABC 2:30 PM CST (FRI) Arizona-Oregon- ESPN 6 PM CST (FRI) Boise St.-Nevada- ESPN 9:15 PM CST (FRI) Michigan-Ohio St.- ABC 11 AM CST Michigan St.-Penn St.- 11 AM CST Virginia-Virginia Tech- 11 AM CST South Florida-Miami(FL)- ESPNU 11 AM CST Kentucky-Tennessee- 11:21 AM CST Kansas-Missouri- 11:30 AM CST LSU-Arkansas- CBS 2:30 PM CST Northwestern-Wisconsin- ABC 2:30 PM CST BYU-Utah- 2:30 PM CST Florida-FSU- ABC 2:30 PM CST North Carolina St.-Maryland- ESPN2 2:30 PM CST Washington-Cal- 2:30 PM CST TCU-New Mexico- Versus 3 PM CST South Carolina-Clemson- ESPN2 6 PM CST Mississippi St.-Ole Miss- 6 PM CST Oregon St.-Stanford- Versus 6:30 PM CST Georgia Tech-Georgia- ESPN2 6:45 PM CST Oklahoma St.-Oklahoma- ABC 7 PM CST Notre Dame-USC- ABC 7 PM CST UH-Texas Tech- 7 PM CST So there's a lot of great match ups on Saturday too. The game between Ok St. and Oklahoma could be very interesting because there a few different scenarios for the winner of the Big 12 South. Ohio St., Wisconsin and Michigan St. has some testy games this week also to keep them alive in the Big Ten race.
After two weeks of boredom, we finally have a great slate of games on tap. Most of them are not on Saturday. I can't wait for Friday.
As much fun as Oregon's style is, I'm 100% rooting for a BSU-TCU Round 3 in the BCS title game. Let's go bama/zona!
Yo fatty... you wanna go catch the game somewhere? Drinking game: I drink every time Potts runs for a first down. You drink every time they show a clip from last years game or mention Leach.
Haha.... Donny vs Fatty rematch. Both teams are completely different this time around and this one is in Lubbock.
Sure. Where sounds good? (I typically do Pub or Sawyer, but I'm fine with BW3, or pretty much anywhere.)
What a great weekend of football, mainly Friday though. Can't wait for the TCU @ UNM game, should be a barn burner
I wouldn't. This is a really tricky game. Too quick of a turn around after the NEB game. Texas had essentially 2 weeks to prepare since they played a joke of a team last saturday. In the past 2 weeks we played two emotional games against top 10 teams and beat them. I'm scared our team is going to be emotionally exhausted and take the horns lightly. With that being said, my heart tells me it won't be close! PS: anyone else notice how light this thread is this year? There's usually quite a crowd running smack before the game. seems like all the tshirt Texas fans abandoned ship and bought TCU tshirts.
Yes, most of the Texas fans gave up a couple of games ago. However, if they win tonight, I'm sure a few will show up to remind everyone that they can still beat the Aggies.
i graduated to a sweater vest fan. enjoying the game so far and it's nice to see aTm relevant again. hope they keep it up consistently for the sake of the conference going forward. doesn't hurt there are a couple katy kids playing defense for the aggys.
Why do these three grown ass men announcers jeep getting reduced to giggles? Sherm doing his Kubiak impression... 20 seconds or so ran off the clock before the timeouts got called.
