Not so much! How about dem Aggies! QB change was the turning point it seems for this team! Just checked into the UT game....LOL...33-3
You know it has to be awesome for the Old Ball Coach to go to Gainseville and kick the Gators that hard. Cal really blew it. They had a good chance to take down the #1 team in the nation. This one is gonna sting for a while. They need to re-focus in a hurry with The Big Game coming up next week.
By far the most disgusting display of "officiating" I've ever seen in my life, and not because I'm an aggie fan. This was absolutely ridiculous. The ref would wait until our receiver caught the ball and got in, and then he would throw the flag and call illegal formation. WTF was that? I understand the PI on EZ (although it is iffy since he wasn't the intended receiver, and it was marginal contact initiated by the defender), but the "ineligible receiver" on Kenrick was disgusting. The spots Baylor got were ridiculous, they gave them 3 first downs on "measurements" when it wasn't even close and it was obvious they were a good 2 feet short. We beat the bears AND the zebras today. I'm glad we play Nebraska next week so it will probably even things out since the refs hate both of us.
By the way, Baylor played some dirty football. They took every chance to put in late hits and take cheap shots at our players. Did anyone catch that late hit on Judie? after Judie made the tackle and the play was long over, an offensive lineman came up and slammed Coryell in the back while he was still on the ground. Of course, the blind mice didn't see it and Judie had to be helped off the field. And on a separate note, in terms of fan classlessness and douchebaggery, bears give tech fans a run for their money. Several friends of mine who were at the game were treated to F bombs, middle fingers, and various insults (including several bonfire references), and apparently they were booing everytime one of our players would go down because they thought we were "faking it". How very christian of them. What a bunch of semen guzzling hypocrites. And for the last time, we're not "rivals". This is not a "rivalry" game Mr. FSN idiot commentator. It's pretty cute though that Baylor likes to think it is.
Auburn isn't going to let Alabama step in their way to get to Glendale... Auburn vs. Oregon. Book it.
So, if that happens (which I pray it will not), and the final score of that game turns out to be something like 71-65, how will the media spin that so show "how great these teams are"?
yea what kind of bs is that, they decide to do gameday for two bs teams when A&M and Nebraska are both ranked top 25 and on a roll WTF!!!
I don't know why they picked Ill-NW, but while A&M-NU is a good matchup, it doesn't really have the national implications that tends to drive ESPN Gameday decisions. Neither team is in the national title mix, and it doesn't really have a lot of impact in the B12 race either unless a bunch of other things happen. There's no other games that really have implications either - it looks like a pretty terrible weekend of football - so I guess they figured the Wrigley Field thing would be fun? I have no idea.

Good grief, now you're sounding like a Longhorn fan. Complaining about officiating, whining about the other teams fans, trying to belittle the other school by saying they are not a rival. A few good games and suddenly Aggies are thumping their chests like they've accomplished something. I've been pulling for the Aggie football team to get their act together, but posts like yours makes me have second thoughts. The Aggies won the game, be happy, no need to rub someones face in it.

Huge for Boise here if it's duplicated in the other polls. The computers will be interesting as well; VaTech won and Utah lost, meaning Boise probably has the best win of the two teams as well. From here on out, TCU has maxed out its computers, while Boise has a pair of decent opponents left (Fresno, Nevada) to move up in the computers. Obviously, they need Auburn to lose to Alabama, but if BSU is #3 this week in the BCS, they are pretty well set. If TCU is ahead, BSU could still catch them depending on how things go the next few weeks. The sad thing about this whole this is that its possible that whoever is ranked lower of BSU and TCU will end up not even in a BCS Bowl. The BCS only has to take the better of them, and there's enough good BCS teams this year (unlike last year where everyone had 2 losses) that they very well could get left out.
We, Cal, are a kicker and a QB away from being great.. That is the second game against a ranked opponent that Tavecchio has cost us.
