Georgia's been on a roll since they got AJ Green back, and with all the distractions about Newton, they should give Auburn a close one. We've always found a way to win against OSU, and this year will be no dif... *sigh*
By my "delight" post I was referring to the fake fans. I have no problem with real fans. Was talking to some random old guy the other day at Kroger about football, since I happened to have an old TCU shirt on, and he was sporting an old UT t-shirt. (....not sure where I was going with this story...meh. ) It's time for UT to see what needs to be replaced/fixed. That school, with such a huge talent base....and incoming talents. I wouldn't expect more than 1 year of suckitude, but considering how far they've dropped since last season. I wouldn't be surprised if they were big 12 champs next year....or another year of this. Crazy how the team changes in such a short amount of time.
In tough times you see the colors of the true fans... On an unrelated note, the week after we lost to Iowa State, I was at the O'Hare airport and I saw some dude walk by with an Iowa State sweater. Not implying anything, but I thought that was random, if not a coincidence
Is it Saturday yet? Looking forward to the Baylor A&M game, and the TCU one. Oh, and the Georgia game.
I tuned into Iowa/Northwestern with 9 mins left, Iowa with the ball up 17-7 and driving. Stanzi throws a pick and it totally changes the game around. NW marches the length of the field and scores a TD. They get the ball back and drive 91 yards to take the lead 21-17 with 1:22 left. Iowa could have iced the game. Even after the pick I thought they were in control. Their Rose Bowl dreams may have gone up in smoke.
Poor Murray, he's been slammed into the ground about 3-4 times. In the NFL that'd be 3 personal fouls. But give the guy credit, goodness has he responded every time. Most impressive being after Auburn scored with ease on the opening drive, and the crowd going crazy.
Man AJ Green looks like another AJ playing football on sundays. Should be interesting to see where he gets drafted.
Eh, wasn't a fan of that pass interference call. Don't punish the defensive back for such a poorly thrown ball. It wast thrown straight at Rambo, why should he be penalized for it?
first time I've had time to watch Cam Newton play. What a beast. He can run and he's definitely accurate with the ball.
What's wild about Wisconsin-Indiana is that it was tied at 10-10 in the 2nd quarter. Usually in blowouts, you see it coming at the beginning. Wisconsin then scored 6 unanswered TDs and the rout was on.
TCU's Offensive lines coach suffered a heart attack at the end of the half. Hope he's doing alright. TCU turned it around like crazy there in the 2nd.
