Not at all... I'm glad I wrote it before he came back. Had I waited I wouldn't have been able to. I stand by every word.

Whether Tmac came back or not, the title of the article says the day T-mac lost the city. Doesn't really have much to do with whether he plays or not.

With that being said, I was so happy to see him out there. I love the guy.

You know I may have agreed with you yesterday, but today I saw our city not only not boo him but instead give him a standing ovation. Now I expected booing, but today I was floored by what I saw.

I think some people have fallen victim to the torch bearers repeated screams, maybe even myself a little bit. I am not convinced T-mac lost the city of Houston. Maybe he lost you, or Tinman, or DD...but he hasn't lost me and I think there are alot of others who are prepared to forgive and forget.

Anyway, we'll see if he gets traded, or whatever ends up happening.

    Go Rockets!

So, how do you think he looked tonight, as long as he is feeling pain free in my opinion, he will be fine.

Why would the city boo him? Why would the fans there boo him? You must be joking. Maybe you've been reading so much of this forum that you thought McGrady was going to be booed, those of you who are talking about Clutch "eating crow"?

Houstonians are not an incredibly rude people, y'know? Hell, I would've applauded him when he showed up. But I still know he has no future with this team and thus will not be on this team for very long, and I want him gone. Don't wish bad things for him. I just want to use his expiring contract and one of our manageable-contract players to upgrade the team.

    Just LOVE you Tmac fanboys.

Houston is a little more forgiving and Rockets fans attending the games at the Toyota center are generally clueless.

Had this been NYC, for example, you bet he would have been booed. I know because I am from NY.

lol. did the fans tell you they would have booed him?

the fans in NYC were begging for McGrady just last week.

I'm from NY, and that's a lie. Maybe you went to the Nets arena by accident.

NYC fans being passionate has nothing to do with the hypothetical scenario you presented, blindly predicting that T-Mac would have booed "had this been NYC"

I repeat, Knick fans wanted T-Mac last week.

They would have cheered him this week. I know because I lived in NY.

Then you are too young to have seen it. Your posts generally shows it too.

I have been to Knicks game where entire Knicks team has been booed by the Madison Square Garden crowd.

NY fans and media will rip you apart if you alienate them.

And I surely did not go to Meadowlands by accident. That arena is so quiet, you could hear the players talk even if you sat all the way up.

Cheering for a player on another visiting team for some entertainment is not the same. McGrady drama did not hurt the Knicks.

NYC would NOT be cheering for him had Tmac been on the Knicks and had done what he has done in Houston.
