I feel sorry for any discussion forums related to the team that acquires McGrady (either now or over the summer). I predict the membership there will increase by several hundred and the overall quality of the content there will nosedive. But as long as it takes out the trash here I guess I'm happy :grin:

If you're a hopeless McGrady fan, don't bother replying to my message. I probably have you on ignore. I suggest other rational posters who can't resist being suckered into "discussions" with teenagers do the same. :grin:

I don't understand why you're arguing. Two sides entrenched in their positions and not listening to each other. To me, there is indisputable proof for my beliefs about Tracy McGrady, but if you don't believe that fine.

No, A rockets fan is someone who cares about the TEAM over any individual player.

A Rocket fan supports the team, and what is good for the team, even if that means getting rid of a talented malcontent like Tmac.

To make personal attacks is somehow funny for you. Reminds me of our times at elementary school.

 

Why are you guys constantly talkin about his injury, sure it was a big problem, but the reason I started disliking him (keep in mind I've been a Rockets Fan since Matt Bullards rookie season AND NEVER SEEN THIS BEFORE)---its his attitude. There were LOTS of games like the one featured on the vid where he would things like pass the ball, and turn his back, slow down at halfcourt and let 4 players run a play. Purposely not foul and make the teamate earn his 2 points instead of an easy drive. He would pass the ball lazily and smirk like he didnt care. He stopped giving as many assists (check his assists) and that stat started going downhill. You cant blame that attitude and effort on his injury. Scola would play with one leg if he could, in fact Ive seen Scola play recently with goggles that would fog up and he still gave his all. I was a T-mac "supporter" until he displayed this lack of effort--this is a MENTAL issue NOT physical. HOWEVER I believe in second chances and I think he can really pull through if he at least maintains his basketball IQ (our team would benefit greatly from his assists that he started getting really good at before he said "meh"). I trust in Adelman that he can successfully create a gameplan involving McGrady no matter what, as long as T is ready to go with the flow. GO ROX!

Those people you call "T-Mac only fans" want Tracy McGrady to play to see if he can help the Rockets, not just because they like him. Those people say that if he plays and helps the Rockets it is a positive, they also said if he plays terrible then put him back on the inactive list. So are they still "T-Mac only fans?"

To those people you mention, he is not ready to help the team, Adelman and Morey have consistently said so....

To those people: Just have a little patience, when and if he is ready he will play.

I am not your brother....my brothers realize Tmac is a cancer.......and must be cut out for the good of the whole....

actually mcgrady's ast per game went up when he became a rocket. Actually he avg his highest ast per game in a season with the ROCKETS. Oh and please show me other than this vid of t-mac in toronto where he has done all of that. Scola's googles doesnt affect his body. mcgrady was limited athletically. he couldnt move the way he wanted. a big difference than just wearing goggles. but thats all i ask, he can still be given a second chance, but people WILL NOT WAIT, and thats why they posted this damn video, even though he hasnt been in the spotlight since adelman and him have agreed on his situation.
