Who gives two craps for what he has done for the organization? WHO CARES?

This year is all that matters...nothing else...here is your gold watch, thanks for the memories, don't let the doorknob hit ya where the good lord split ya.....

He is getting paid to play, and if he can't do it, i want someone in here STAT that can.

Hakeem got traded, Ralph got traded, Francis got traded...at some point your time is up.

Tmac.....Father ROCKET time is looking right at you....

I can agree with this. Everyone eventually has the potential to get traded. I think what's more telling is the fact that Clutch has written a fairly negative article against Tmac when he normally remains very neutral to the matter.

Clutch is far from a hater of any of the players in the organization, and the fact that he has written a very strong article against Tmac says a lot, imo.

He did have supporters, and he also had haters. Fran Blinebury wanted to trade him after the Dallas series. People slammed him after the Jazz series. Then people slammed him after the second Jazz series, where he did the exact opposite of what everyone accused him of doing. His detractors have grown since last year and that is understandable. But don't act like Tracy McGrady didn't recieve all of the flack for Houston's lack of playoff success. The fact that people even THINK to say that The Blazers would have beat us if Tracy played is silly.

We aren't arguing the same thing. I am not opposed to people trading him. i am opposed to people going on silly tirades like little girls about how Tmac has quit every year since he has been a Rocket.

Well apparently Clutch cares about what happened in previousl years. If this year is all that matters, then why are is there a thread on something that happened last year?

If he comes back, humbles himself, plays hard on offense and defense and helps the team win...of course I will support him.

Anyone wearing the Rockets red, I will cheer for....doesn't mean I won't criticize, but I will yell my fricken GUTS out for that team.....

A fair question, because for each fan, there is a clock, and for some of us, the bell has tolled for Mr. Tracy McGrady.......some of us, have seen enough, realize that a leopard will not change his spots, and some of us do not ignore how he continued into this season tossing teamates and the organization under the bus.

So, this is NOT about last season at all, it is about THIS season, and what can or can't help this team now, and going forward.

The day before 12.15, when a bunch of guys become trade eligible... Adelman jokes about TMac trade, Clutch writes TMac retrospective.

    Somthing going down.

    No?

Which players are on the list? Which one will be the right fit for the current Rockets team?

As a fan, I do have a problem with that approach as I did when those players that you've named were traded. As a fan of this team, one can't help but become attached to the players that make up said team. I guess, I am an exception based on what your statement implies.

If we use your logic, I sure hope that this philosophy and/or approach is used on EVERY current member of the team.

The real gripe I have with all of this is that WE aren't able to see for ourselves whether or not he can help the team. So what if Adelman is the coach. None of you have any concrete proof that he is unable to play outside of us being told that by the coach (or some suspect "insider"). And that reason is based on the coach's feel for the team which is his opinion/job. So as long as T-Mac is on this team, I would be willing to say that many of us, who still want to see what he has in his tank, are waiting to see him play for ourselves and are not just relying solely on what anyone else including Clutch may say.

The team chemistry argument is tiring. As well as the opinion of him not being able to play this style of play or being a ballhog. After watching this team play, I have still seen some of the same things that many of you complain about occur with some of our "team oriented" players too.

This is a continuous cycle that could be remedied by playing the man or trading him. This team is being marred by this uncertainty that is "McGrady-Gate". I blame both sides and the media.

So your ultimate gripe is you think you know better than Adelman and Clutch, even you don't have nearly as much info about McGrady's status as they do.
    Riiiiiigggghhhhhhhttttttt.

no.... what he is saying is that he wants to see for himself. he may agree that mcgrady is not ready but that is only based off of what somebody tells him. I think many people want to see with their own eyes where t-mac is at right now and what is keeping him from playing. Either that or the organization could give us some more info..

Aka. these persons think they know better than Adelman and Clutch and think he is capable of playing even though Adelman has clearly said he is not. The Rockets are not interested in sending a not ready McGrady out during a currently very rough stretch of games just so fans can play armchair coach, and with good reason. And the org has given us info - McGrady isn't ready yet. Move along.

I'm all for seeing how much Tmac can actually help us, but it's not like Adelman and Morey are being unjustifiable dicks about this situation. I trust their reasoning on why Tmac hasn't played yet, the history on Tmac and Adelman/Morey makes me side with Adelman and Morey on this.

I hate what he did that game. Pissed me off, a lot. Especially when he talked to Stephen Ass Smith instead of discussing surgery with the Rockets org.

BUT, I'd be lieing if I said I wouldn't love to see TMAC (if healthy) playing on the court again in Rockets uniform. I'd give him a chance to redeem himself.

I'm sick and tired of watching Ariza trying to be the man. We need a creator....and if TMAC is able to. I'd welcome him back.

Either way, I'll support the Rockets. Their my team. Rockets > any individual player. I miss the fohawk (Wafer)....I miss Tracy....But the #1 thing is HOUSTON.....

soze....if any of that made sense, I'd welcome him back and give him a chance to redeem himself (in my eyes), if he does one day make it on the court as Rocket and works his ass off for the team.

    Otherwise....ciao....

    If you're not a Rocket....good bye.
