This has higher chance of happening than McGrady leading a team to championship.

    I am being honest.

they had a talk and the team said we'll only play you when you are back at your all-star level. that will not only benefit you, but us.

but health-wise, he is 100%. adelman said so himself to the chron a few days ago. he is "medically ready to go," in adelman's own words.

it's a matter of when tracy mcgrady can play like an all-star in practice so they can audition him for a trade.

A bit more it is when he is 100% and can play the style on both ends of the floor, at least according to Morey.

Great post clutch. I think mcgrady could be valueable trade asset come the trade deadline. Right now its too early for teams to want to absorb his contract since he hasn't even played yet. Maybe the team wants to showcase him when he is "100%".

i said "if" and you failed to answer the question, I for one am a rocket fan and believe the team can win the championship every year, call me biased, thats just the way i think. If you dont believe they can win it all, why call yourself a fan, and not a pessimistic Houston Rocket follower.
so i ask again, "IF" the rockets win and tmac is a part of the winning championship team, does he still not come back in rocket red? its a simple question, to me he does come back, never say never.

i completely agree, a lot of peeps want him gone, but then dont want him to play . No way he can be traded unless he plays, just not gonna happen ,, that said he will play with the rox, and if he does well will stick around , if he fails, he will be traded or not resigned next year.

so, being realistic all of sudden makes you less of a fan?

i'm all for being optimistic, but there's a difference between being optimistic and being delusional.

man you guys are useless, i thought you were rocket fans and not haters, who hate on other fans.
would you of said it was realistic the rockets took the lakers to 7 games w/out tmac or yao, would you of said it was realistic if i told you rockets would win 22 in a row when yao was hurt 2 seasons ago, if you said yes to either, i guess you delusional, and i was optimistic.

season is 1/4 of the way through, and you and your other partners, think the rox can't win the championship? with a 13-10 record so far showing promise.
and im delusional for thinking they can, and with tmac in the lineup.
were are the supporters on this board? , i see more hate and pessimists on here than optimistic fans, kinda sad, but hey thats all good you do you , ill do me :)

ok ill answer your question because i want to see what a tmac hater has to respond, regarding your time machine question, God put me on this earth so i would have to say yes i would still of been born and still on this earth one way or another. Now you answer my question, ill post it again in case you forgot it, "IF" the rockets win the championship, and tmac is a part of the team that helps win it, does he come back in rocket red?

To call him out on that play, to take away all that he has contributed to this team/city- I don't agree, the man to me is clearly injured, and he made one of the worst decisions in his life on deciding to be with his teamates during training camp and starting the season and fighting it out, when he should of just took care of his business. Coming out of chronic back bull crap, and now facing and not taking proper precautions about the knee , I saw a mentally frustrated person (who already has tendency towards a mentally fragile psyche) who got stuck with a bad decision- TRAIN WRECK-, and while many posting on this thread think otherwise I thought- Man, SIT YOUR ASS OUT and try to get cured, cause this is not helping anyone. At times I feel we got to put ourselves in other peoples position, and and think what we would have done, and where they went wrong.

Seeing a team flourish like it currently is, the truth may be that alot of people would not be flourishing any where else where it not for this opportunity (and a GM who knows his work), but we can never understimate will and determination of true teamwork. I feel he really wants to play on this type of team, he was waiting for a team like this, to flourish on this system. I think its undeniable that this is probably the player to contribute the most to this system- even more than Yao Ming.

But I think 2 questions really remain, 1)- is his health really back? - I dont think anyone has any clue. But if it is with a team orientated team Mac- Houston is gonna go far...

2)- is his mental fragile psyche that can go either way. This man can burn everyone and reach tremendous hights or be burned down with pressure, i've rarely seen it in the middle. how is he going to deal with it this time? Anyone can hide their badsides until exposed when a train wreck happens. But sometimes he shares it himself- that he has no shame in sharing with the public (too depressed to play cause someone stole his money, people died (not really relatives) -to helping the children of Houston to Darfur :). Can he have the strength within to face the critics/ public who seemingly are ready to throw any type of his contribution to this team/city? Is he gonna have courage, patience, and let his play speak, or let pressure crumble his diva like show from within? These are the real questions.

I for one thing would never judge anyone's heart when their injured or down.
