Every player in the league plays hurt at times. Only McGrady makes sure we all know about his. Kobe has played with torn ligaments and a broken finger. McGrady had a strained ligament and lied to the media telling them it was torn (and he didn't play). McGrady had to shut it down and get microfracture surgery after getting a routine surgery that every other player returns from in a few months.

Playing defense means doing it every night. You know this.

As I said in my last post. People respect effort and heart. Kobe has plenty of both. McGrady has as little of it as I have seen in a superstar in quite some time.

he is NOT going to be with us next year. both sides are done. tracy is going to play b/c feigen says the team states he's getting MUCH better than he was last week. and they want to audition him for a trade, as they are actively shopping him.

so yes, i expect him to be traded by the deadline, so he'll play for the team only about 2 months or so.

You made it sound like tmac doesnt play hurt, cant argue that. And Kobe does make it known that he's playing hurt or with the flu, MANY times. Don't remember about the lying of a torn ligament but if you could link me to a source, i'll happily acknowledge his douchebaggery. Watch the video with the Rockets doctor, both tmac and the rockets wanted him to play as soon as possible, that's why they took a surgery with a shorter recovery time. Tmac opted for the shorter recovery time because he wanted to PLAY.

I do know this. I also know that Kobe roams on defense A LOT because he has bear the majority of the offensive load at times, so he cant spend all his energy on defense. He also has the luxury of Gasol/Bynum/Odom with help defense. So should tmac play more defense? yes, but not even Kobe plays hard nosed defense all game, every game.

Can't show you that, but i can show you where he publicly talked trash about his center, GM, and asked to be traded.
