Max Kellerman and Molly Qerim on First Take look so defeated LOL. They picked OKC to win this series.

 

Hoping for yuge games from EG and Lou Will tonight and by yuge I mean make their 3's

 

fakers got 20 FT's in that 4th Q. probably a worse rig job than even the 2002 WCF.

Adam Silver saw us blow them out by 30 in Game 1 and had to call in the ref reinforcements for his MVP

Hey man, Ive already seen your intellect and that didnt take very long but I digress... That was in response to him calling me a fool and blatantly saying I was an idiot for not recognizing the game plan. If you go back, I thanked him for letting me know it was the game plan along with count dough ku in their first responses. Count took the high route and explained and that kid took the low route being a turd.

 

You do realize that a ton of those free throws were in the final minute when the Blazers had to foul intentionally to get the ball back.



Skip ahead to 8:30 for the 4th quarter highlights(or lowlights if you're a Blazers fan). I watched that game when it originally aired and Portland flat out choked. They started jacking up jump shots late in the shotclock. They looked clueless as to who their #1 option was when they needed a bucket. And to the Lakers' credit, their guys(especially Brian Shaw) hit some huge jumpers to get them back into the game.

The irony is that until that 4th quarter, it looked like the Lakers were the ones about to pull a massive chokejob. Remember that they were up 3-1 to Portland and were coming off a 67-15 season. Had they gone on to lose that game and the series, there would've been some serious questions raised about Shaq's ability to win a title given how he'd been swept out of the playoffs in prior seasons(other than in 1997 when the Lakers lost 4-1 to Utah).

 

i realize that their best player sabonis fouled out on 2 completely bogus calls in the 4th for his 5th & 6th fouls. same with pippen. at the same time, POR could not buy a foul call. that game was wrapped up and gifted to LA -- end of story.
