Bill worrell said it was the game plan. Kevin Harlan on TNT said it may be the game plane since other teams do it to the Thunder.

Hell, Stevie wonder knew it was the game plan. You don't have to be in the coach's meeting to hear what people say and easily deduce that leaving a 25% shooter open to take the ball out of Russell hands and set up for a rebound (thunder were a better rebounding team during the season) is a good idea.

Jinx game. Everyone too cocky and the Rockets come out soft with little energy. It happens all the time. Extremely passive and beta b**** crowd. I expect this series to be even heading back to OKC for a very scary game 3 where their crow is always crazy and brings tons of energy for their team.

 

No kidding, Im still not sleeping on them. Everybody seems to not notice all the little things when theres a win, granted, a win is the end result that we want but the energy was low to start excluding Bev.

I think its just because we have seen the Rockets get to 17+ point leads in every game against them. It was just a matter of holding those huge leads and not getting complacent.

 

Beverly played like the best all around point guard in the game of basketball in the universe. I don't know if he can replicate that.

He doesn't have to. Look at the other guys stats, plenty of room for improvement by them.

In game 1, harden was staring right at Roberson and letting him shoot. Sorry you didn't get it, everyone else did

 

And some people don't even notice the obvious things. Like game plan

Hahaha, I had to laugh at that dude saying that people don't notice the little things when he didn't even notice the defensive game plan and said that Harden played zero defense in game 1.

Reaching? This has been Hardens mondus operandi for the longest time. I dont understand how you guys cant hold your superstar accountable for certain things, like say, defense? So, I took the liberty of rewatching the first half for defense. Its funny that the game plan only applies to Harden. Here are some examples of his defense that leaves much to be desired, excluding the wide open 3s by roberson since its the game plan.

First Quarter
1:25- James clogs the paint, westbrook is on the bench. Why is there a need to clog it when Westbrook isnt in. His man is grant, completely loses him on a cut and Lou picks him up. Harden gets caught ball watching and luckily hes still in position to semi-defend #6 at the top of the wing. The point is Roberson is out and so Russ, stay on your man, dont get caught ball watching and let everybody else switch around you. Thats lazy.

2nd Quarter
11:40- Harden on bench. No one else is following the game plan. Everyone is man on man.

8:50- Russ is back in, Harden is still sitting.Now there is a legitimate threat of a drive with Russ in, yet no one is clogging the paint ala Harden. Every body is man on man and switching.

2:48- Harden is back in and plays his typical Olé defense, gets pushed out of the way by Adams. Russ gets right past him dishes off to Adams for an easy 5 footer.

2:06- Ball watching top of the left key, while Roberson slides all the way to the right key. Result was a missed 3 by Russ, but how do you let your man get that open without ever taking a look at him?

This is the playoffs. There are no plays off. I dont care who you are.

Russell Westbrook and the Thunder totally bested James Harden and the Rockets to the tune of 3 losses and 1 win. OK then.

I guess those 47 Thunder wins are worth more than the Rockets' 55?

Who in their right mind watches the ENTIRE first half replay after a 30 point win, just to show that harden had THREE undesirable defensive plays. And then has the donkey brains to use that as an argument that everyone else on this board is blind.
