this game will be won on Yao's back, Jeff foster? David Harrison? Scott Pollard? those are nothing more than fouls.
Yao should dominate, but Jeff Foster's actually a pretty good post defender. And they'll probably triple team Yao before he even gets the ball and dare us to shoot from the outside. So who knows? Peja is our main enemy for this game. He can shoot over anyone and has been lighting it up since being traded. It doesn't help that he's got five inches on our Tmac sub. They have a height and power advantage at the 1/2/3 and I don't feel that at all. And JVG's philosophy is to pack the paint over guarding the 3pt shooters, leaving peja a little more space to knock down that 25 footer. Like it or not we'll have to drag out the secret weapon. there's no way anyone can guard Yao 1on1 in da post, if they push yao too hard, he spins on you and you lost ur balance, if u dont push him hard enough yao'll back up u down and do a baby hook on you.
Yao will be doubled or tripled tonight. Book it. There is no way that the Pacers will let Yao go one on one against Pollard/Foster. No f**king way.
Let's not turn this into a Yao vs TMac thing. Remember Drexler/Hakeem? Remember Hakeem/Ralph?...Remember Hakeem/Cassell/..uh sure said Hakeem allot! lol....tmac and yao are just so damn good that we can win if tmac is ok. Hell, we could get to the conferance finals if we sneak in!!! anyway, for me these two guys have returned the joy of being rockets crazy, and telling my lady friends, uh gotta go now, I have the rockets on tape at home...bye....(.zooooom!)
I seem to remember if you guard Peja and do a decent job then his shot can be disrupted. If this is so, then our 12th.man Mr.Bowen might be quite useful in this game as he has the height & agility that our other defenders don't have. Our outside shooters must make their shots to give our Big Men any chance of success and hopefully Tracy McG will be on the court to do just that. JVG sustitutions will have to be at its superior best if we are to win this game!
I hope the Rocket shooters are on tonight, when they double Yao, we will need them to knock down some shots.
Yao seems to have trouble with Foster in the past, both defensively and offensively. He needs to take it to the guy, don't let the punk abuse him. Must win to keep the slim playoff hope alive!
The key to win still like whole season we played. Our guards hit the OPEN 3s, tmac play his AVERAGE game. Yao, I don't worry about him.
Well, NO is going to suck the rest of the season. They are back playing at NO and no longer at OK. So, they have lost 3 in a row. And will continue to lose. I like our chances. Go Rockets!
