I don't know it is absolutely necessary to win this one, but it is a really good test. It is going to boost players' confidence a lot if they can beat the hell out of grizzlies.

This should be a game never close.
    97 vs. 80 Rockets.

We must beat Sonics & Grizzlies at least once, otherwise it just sucks.

The longest winning streak for Rockets this year is only 4 games. Let's break the record!

I think the Rox will surprise a lot of people here and pull this one out. Yao is going to punish the Grizz for 4 quarters.

To win this game, we have to control the pace, take care of the ball.

The Grizzs have TEN deep rotation, their full court pressure will give our back court fists. We must play a slow tempo game, pound the ball inside.

It's going to be a close game with the Rockets come up on TOP!

Time for Rockets to tear apart the Grizzilies! Grizzilies are an excellent team, deep, and they play hard everynight. However, their fatal flaw is that they don't have a true stars and it will cost them games at playoff time. This game will be like playoff atmosphere!

Again, Rockets show up and people admit Rockets are much more talented.

I don't have a good feeling about this game. Matchup problems galore for us. In the last 7 games or so we've been playing well but the matchups are almost a decisive factor. Look at the Seattle loss.

I don't think it's going to be a blowout though, so we need to make plays down the stretch.

Everyone can see we are more talented than the Grizzlies, but the Grizzlies are the only team play full court pressure defense constantly, which generate tons of TOs, and lead lots of easy points for them. Our backcourts ball handling ability under the pressure is one of our weakest link.

Our weakness is their strength, it just doesn't sound good.

i have been pretty optimistic all year long but my money is on the Grizz this game. This team sags and creates havoc. We need smart, crisp, passing with all of our players moving and cutting. but i dont see that happening

The rockets will keep the win streak going.

    Rockets - 95

    Grizzles - 91

We have the same matchup problems with Dallas and we pulled out a win there. I have a feeling we will win, giving us our longest streak. The following game is an easy team, but the Rockets will not show up and lose that one.

I thought the Rockets won five games in a row right before Rudy went out with stomach cancer.

I watched them play the Spurs and they were picking the pockets like crazy. Combined with the fact that we are still a TO prone team especially against sagging D against Yao, I am very worried about this game.

memphis plays tonight in memphis against the clippers and then have to fly to houston to play tomorrow. Fatigue could be a huge factor. we have to hope that the clips can keep it close. i am predicting a win for this reason and because lorenzen wright will not play.
