40 in Adelman system = 30min with JVG.

BTW when this team start gelling together, they will start blowing some bad teams out. You will see a lot of T-Mac & Yao not ven playing in the 4th quarter.

In the video Hilltopper posted Adelman mentioned having a look and trying out things against Portland.

 

The Rockets bench was on the same (North) side of the court that it has always been. What was different is that for some reason this season the Rockets were scoring on the south side of the court in the first half -- they've always gone to the North side in previous years AFAIK. I thought that was weird. I think the players were surprised too, because when they came out of the locker room for warmups they first of all went to the North side and started their drills before they were redirected to the other basket.

Perhaps the Francis chant wasn't all that suprising. Look at this pregame interview of fans by Anna Megan Riley. Lot of mentions of Steve Francis, considering he isn't in the rotation. Fat dudes talking about Steve being the favorite acquisition, the two matching blondes mentioning "Tracy McGrady and Steve Francis" and the little girls in #3 Rockets T-Shirts.

Seems a lot of less obsessive and less analytical Rockets fans still love him.

I hope he contributes eventually.
