    here are the facts:

Paul puts out a "list" before he talks to Orleans management. The list includes orlando,ny,lakers but not houston

Ariza now goes to Orleans, and paul is HAPPY. Pauls surrounding cast is not better than houstons, so if houston KEPT ariza wouldnt Paul want to play in Houston?

Trading Ariza, means Houston has zero chance of ever getting paul now.

    was courtney lee> chris paul?

bad trade long term just to save some money.

We weren't going to get Chris Paul, we weren't going to get Danny Granger, so this shouldn't be an issue.

Read what you wrote. If Houston wasn't on his list with Ariza then how is keeping him is going to put us on his list???

I have to disagree here. From what I recall, AB initiated much better plays whenever he stopped passing to Ariza at the 3 point line.

You just said Houston was not on the list. Why would it matter if we let Ariza go or not if we weren't on the list in the first place? It seems common sense isn't common with you.

Also LOL if you think Ariza will be the difference maker between getting Paul or not.

please quit replying to that chaps-man guy. Or at least don't quote him. I would say troll, but it's like a brain-damaged troll, and I don't know what to call that. It is just teh sad... but still an annoying use of bandwidth.

Any whispers of anything going on? I was very surprised when the Lee/Ariza deal went down.

If they are having a press conference, it usually means they intend on keeping him, right?

As for surprised about Ariza being shipped out, I was not surprised.

I didn't mean the press conference for Lee, but rather if he'd heard anything about anything else on the down low. As for you not being surprised by the Lee/Ariza deal, are you seriously implying that you weren't surprised by Ariza being dealt for Lee and a TE? I doubt that. The possibility of Ariza being dealt was always there, but I always assumed he would be part of a larger package.

Argh! As you know, part of the "Legend of ClutchFans" has been the little word from insiders, the hint of something going on, and, of course, the shear accidents, like The Mall Guy. I was simply asking if you'd heard a whisper of something, some chatter that might have relevance behind it. Nothing more.

Well I think you know from the board who they are after. I don't know how it will go.

That is it's history, but seems to be a long time ago.
