Lee is nice, but it would be nicer if the deal included any of Chris Paul, Danny Granger, or Devin Harris coming to us.

What do we need C. Lee for when Ariza seems to be the better player?

I haven't seen much of Lee. Is he really any better than Ariza?

I'll never understand the Ariza love.

The guy just isn't very good and is not a great fit.

    Link?

Not wild about this idea. In fact, I think it weakens us.

Plus, this idea makes little sense for New Orleans. So they basically trade away Collison, a player that appears to be 8/10's the player Chris Paul is, all for Trevor Ariza? I don't buy it.

DAMMMMM...Morey sure does like these multiple team deals.

I like Lee, he is nice piece to the puzzle.

courtney lee is a good young player but he is a SG so unless this deal has someone else coming to the Rockets to its hard to see a stater being traded to get a bench player back because right now considering their ages Battier may be best served to still come off the bench.

It does save the Rockets some money though but its still not enough to get under the lux tax

Why would we want anybody from that New Jersey team except for Brooke Lopez???? Seriously.

    I don't get it

I would like to see Ariza play with Yao first before making any deals with him involved....

Interesting. I like Coutney Lee and it would even out our roster. Battier/Budinger at SF and Martin/Lee at SG. Indy gets the PG that they've been pursuing. NJ gets a PF who is an expiring contract ( I think). NO gives up Collison but they get rid of Posey's contract and I guess they show committment to CP3.

I'm sure Lee's 1.26 mil contract meant something in this deal.

And I dont see the hate. First half was an experiment to see if he can be more than a role player, he was given green light and free reign on offense, and while he showed flashes, it obviously did not work. But not only has he proven he can be a solid role player for a championship team, he went to being such a player once Martin came to town. He understood his role and took less shots. His FG % etc went way up towards the end of the season. What's not to like about solid role at MLE ?
